  • Senior Representative Teamlists for Round 1 - JWH Selected for NSW Cup

    The Sydney Roosters Senior Representative sides have been named for the opening round of their respective seasons.

    In 2024, the Club will field three teams in their senior competitions;
    • The Sydney Roosters in The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup (Mens Open Age)
    • The Sydney Roosters in the Jersey Flegg Cup (Mens Under 21s)
    • The Central Coast Roosters in the NSW Women's Premiership, which will kick-off in early July

    Both NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup sides will start the season against the Penrith Panthers at St Marys Leagues Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

    *Note the teams lists are incomplete

    Jersey Flegg pack looks light on. I cannot see how Allen Holten as good as he is will be able too hold the Panthers pack at bay.

      Probably one of the strongest forward packs the Roosters have ever fielded in Reggie’s. If Tyler Moriarty slots into number Nine it’ll be stronger than some clubs NRL packs . Thanks for posting King .

        So Hugo Savala is still hanging around, looked like he had some promise. I wish the club was more transparent with these things, naming 6 players for Flegg for example is a joke and shouldn't be allowed

              The Roosters vs Panthers NSW Cup game is on the new NSWRL TV app at 3pm for those interested you can sign up for a free 2 week trial.

              Must say its disappointing the NRL/NSWRL have gone down this paid content route for all their NSW Cup and Junior Football can see a lot of people who used to tune in on to the live facebook streams simply not being willing to fork out to watch it especially when compared to the AFL who broadcast all VFL games live for free on their website.

                For those wondering what happened to Tavita Henare-Schuster he's playing QRL Host plus Cup for the Burleigh Bears. - Burleigh Bears are one of the feeder clubs for the Brisbane Broncos

                      I don’t mind it, I’ve always said I would be willing to pay for televised games. My only gripe is that for $9 a month they’re still only showing a few of the games every week and the video quality is still rubbish. You’d think for a monthly subscription fee they could at least improve on one or the other.

                        They need to be promoting the game not paywalling junior football its crazy especially when your main competitor the AFL is broadcasting every game in the AFLW and VFL for free.

                          Only took Nappa 10 minutes to head to the sin bin for a high shot.
