Pretty ordinary dig to be honest. BMoz won't be too pleased after the big trial win against Souths. We lacked the polish and organisation that Thomas and Taipari gave us from the halves in that game. Savala very tall for a half, and not one of Zachs happier games. Watson was decent and probably stood out in the middle. Egan rarely excites me, about his right grade. JWH only seemed to play about first 30 minutes? Correct me if thats wrong. Jennings looked keen to make an impact in the first half, then the hot St Marys sun sapped his energy. The sub hooker Ioelu was very sharp again. The score probably flattered us.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

The side will get better
many players missing and a few not long off the plane from Vegas
potentially suaali, Murphy, toia, pauga, Vaa, Angus critchon all to come back in against a pretty consistent Penrith reserve side
looks like Ethan king got 3 tries

Watson was the stand out for mine, like in the trial he was just super dangerous carrying the ball around the middle. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see him picked as a genuine middle forward alongside Sandon Smith on the bench soon.
Moriaty looked good, Jennings doesn’t seem to have lost an ounce of speed in his old age, Foketi can hit - I’m excited to see his development in this grade and Gromek looks dangerous.
Need to get Dockar-Clay back into the forwards and find a decent half/five-eight

Boys went down and from what i could see it looks like JWH played the first 29mins before having a spell. Maybe someone can confirm this and how Egan and Connor went.

I’m not sure junior footy is the product that’s really promoting the game, I imagine the majority of watchers both NRL & AFL are your ironed on fans like us who just live and breathe footy.
I do however think players families should have access to free subscriptions to watch their kids pay and I think the $6 per game or $9 per month subscription fee for a very underwhelming streaming service isn’t really doing anything for them at the moment.

I think iit's been very obvious from day dot he is a bench middle. I rate him in the middle, but agree he is only nsw cup standard on the edge.

Coby Thomas also looked the goods in the trials so he is another option for the #6
I think when Connor is with the NRL squad the spine for the NSW Cup boys will look alot different -
6: Savala
7: Taipari
13: ZDC
From what I saw - Foketi & E.Butch are certainly not edge backrowers
