Must say its disappointing the NRL/NSWRL have gone down this paid content route for all their NSW Cup and Junior Football can see a lot of people who used to tune in on to the live facebook streams simply not being willing to fork out to watch it especially when compared to the AFL who broadcast all VFL games live for free on their website.

I think iit's been very obvious from day dot he is a bench middle. I rate him in the middle, but agree he is only nsw cup standard on the edge.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

Charging people to watch junior games...it's embarrassing. They should be streaming it free and shouting from the rooftops that it's free. Love to know how many subscriptions they've sold. It wouldn't be many.
People will miss seeing players come through from juniors to seniors, such as Sandon Smith and Tyler Moriarty for instance, who I first saw playing in the NSW regional Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley Cups comps.
A few others are coming through—Jai Callaghan and Darcy Smith, for instance—from the winning Andrew Johns Cup side in 2023, and now with the Central Coast Harold Mathews Cup side, Semi Leweniqila, a winger in the Central Coast Roosters Andrew Johns Cup side, another one—8 tries—a big unit, as they say.

Even putting the serious fans like yourself aside, what about all the families and friends of the players in those junior games who can't attend the match. Are we seriously saying to them "You have to pay online with a credit card to watch your kid play junior football?". Stupidest thing I've heard.Last edited by Batemans Bay Rooster; 03-10-2024, 02:41 PM.

Seniors Report Round 1: Roosters Pipped by Panthers
It was a promising start for the Sydney Roosters Seniors in their opening round of the season, with both sides narrowly defeated against the Penrith Panthers away from home.

The NRL should make the game as accessible as possible to kids and families. We see half empty stadiums every week. Reduce the cost of food and drinks at the game too. how about kids free with paying adult at selected games? Make it fun. This is a working class game at its core.#We Stand with ourJewish community#
