Seriously some of the knee jerk reactions on here are ridiculous.

I'm actually one of the only roosters fans I know who support Perrett in our colours. I just think that tagive is a safer option in defence especially under the highball.

I would have picked Kheirallah at 7 as he's been in far better form than Mortimer. Quicker, better runner, better kicking game, but anyway it was never going to happen, more bloke is destined to never play first grade again. Mortimer will need to have a blinder if we're going to win this. And our pack will have to own Manly's for the full 80. We won't have any help with the refs again being at Brookie so we can't give them a sniff.

I have to agree, Kheirallah would've given us more direction and organisation. A lot of our direction and ability to play direct will be on Friend's shoulders this week.

Bullshit, I along with plenty of others on here have supported him for a long time even at the beginning when he signed that 5 year deal and everyone was blowing up about it. Don't try this I'm his no.1 supporter bullshit.

Perrett's up there with the top 5 wingers in metres made in the comp, consistently wins us penalties out of our own end and when given the chance (very rarely) is a strong finisher. You want to drop him though because he's not fijian... what a joke.

TBH it doesn't matter if we pick either Kheirallah, Mortimer, Anasta, Symmonds or mitchell in the halves, because we're going to get owned anyway in the halves.

DCE and Foran are right up there with the best halves pairing in the comp and probably could given Carney and Pearce a run for their money. They're not just one class above our pairing but about 3 or 4 classes above them.

I've seen Kheirallah play for newtown where we have a monumentally strong forward pack (for NSW cup standard) and let me tell you he's no Shaun Johnson. Lucky to be a luke walsh or Travis Burns even. I was more impressed with blake Lazarus when he played a short stint.

I certainly rate him. I do not forget the gold coast prelim final 2010, Sammy scored a couple of brilliant tries to put us in a strong position. Plus that year, his new born son had heart surgery and was near death. You would never know from the way he played.

Calm down and re-read the post. I wasn't saying I was his number one supporter(far far from it), but what I was saying was that amoungst the rooster fans that I know, not many seem to be in favor of him being in our team. I didn't say we should drop him because he's not fijian but because I don't think he is our best defender especially under the high ball. I honestly cannot remember the last time he has won a contest in the air. As for the whole fijian winger thing, I was more alluding to the history of strong fijian wingers.
