Voss went past him and I believe Ginnane has now as well. I imagine it is pretty political in there.

I think Warren Smith is one of the best around and is far better than the other Fox Muppets they have.

I think he has a more old school style and Fox are trying to modernise it with Ginanne's UFC/WWE commentary style, which gets annoying very quickly.

Agree Wazza is close to the best nowadays. Voss, at least, is a broadcaster and has a genuine passion for the game - albeit over the top annoying at times. Ginnane is not a sports commentator and has zero footy nous or knowledge. He's like getting your mate from the pub to go and call a match.

Danny Weidler reported today that Fox don't even send commentators to the grounds for most matches. They call in a studio wtaching it on TV. How sad is that. Maybe Warren can't fly given what Bates mentioned and so that's why no Vegas.

Dan Ginnane is am embarrassment to the sport and like Jack's Coat said, he isn't even a sports commentator. It's like when they tried out that bloke from the BlueBet ads who does the game intros like he's a poet
