I’m not that excited and not many are
        would Rather re sign Manu
we have allready got to the stage where we have conceded suaali is gone, and although a decent player seems nothing like what they were making him out to be
we are allready paying him higher then he is worth at $700k as a winger

I hope it happens, he will be a different player by the end of this year. He will go from being a target for attacking teams to a player to avoid running anywhere near.
players with his energy and hunger for hard work are keepers. Especially the ones with his potential.

JWH, Crighton, Toops, Manu leaving at the same time with Keary and Teddy to follow shortly after...that leaves a MASSIVE talent and leadership vaccum. Also frees up a lot of cash.

I like the idea of a Swahleehee backflip. I think he has the makings for a top fullback eventually.

Rumours that Suaalii won $3m at Vegas Casino and decided he doesn't need ARU money.

                Agree.

We have too much happening at the end of this year. I hope he stays and hopefully Angus as well.

Losing May a possibility as well.

I only want to keep those that can & will make us better. JS & May are young, just starting & have massive upside. Crichton offers nothing & isn’t in our best team. Why try to hang onto a reserve grader when we want to get better.

I agree Manu is the better, but it’s purely timing & circumstances. Manu has spent years waiting for the FB spot & he knows he has another few more to wait yet until Teddy goes. JS will now take that spot before he’s mid 20s whereas Manu probably knew JS would be back when Teddy retires & then want Manus destined FB spot.

Would love to keep Manu, but if he is going than retaining JS would be the next best thing. After what Phil Waugh said it makes sense for the other code to consider releasing him from his deal.

I hope that Joseph Sua'ali'i does backflip on the Rugby Union he is an incredible talent and will be a better fullback than Joseph Manu you have to remember than Sua'ali'i is only 20 years of age and he is already this good of a player

Joseph has 8-9 siblings and there is no way the father would give up the union money. It's been a case of the highest bidder all through his junior years. It's always about the money.
I feel very sorry for Joseph, he won't be happy playing union but he has a very large family to feed and I just can't see how he backflips and gives up the big pay day.

Will be a better fullback? How good is Suaali I think he is overated atm he plays hard like a back rower really but lacks a lot in terms of being a good outside back! Defence footwork, attacking with no footwork into contact, fend or passing game yet! Manu and Latrell were dominant centres by 20, suaali wont be in the chooks backline in a round or with Everyone back! And that includes Billy smith who is on around $200k and played bugger all footy in 4 years! Better than Manu certainly not?
