Will be a better fullback? How good is Suaali I think he is overated atm he plays hard like a back rower really but lacks a lot in terms of being a good outside back! Defence footwork, attacking with no footwork into contact, fend or passing game yet! Manu and Latrell were dominant centres by 20, suaali wont be in the chooks backline in a round or with Everyone back! And that includes Billy smith who is on around $200k and played bugger all footy in 4 years! Better than Manu certainly not?
Joseph Manu was older than Joseph Sua'ali'i is now when he got dumped from the team for Ryan Matterson to play in the centres late in the season when the team was on the run for a premiership

Yes dropped for a few games while suaali can’t get a spot on out top 17 or 5 backline spots when everyone is fit!
for the hype about him it’s a little underwhelming to say the least
I’m not that excited and not many are
would Rather re sign Manu
we have allready got to the stage where we have conceded suaali is gone, and although a decent player seems nothing like what they were making him out to be
we are allready paying him higher then he is worth at $700k as a winger
You'll eat those words Chook.
I don't read that much into Suallii's poor year last year.
- he shifted around positionally quite a lot, preventing him from getting any momentum and form. The difference between the job of a centre and winger in the modern game is notable.
- he was in the media spotlight constantly due to the negotiations, and a lot of it was negative. That would have had a terrible impact on his mental health.
- the kid is only 20 years old. And at times in his career already he has already looked the goods.
The kid is a star already, and will be an exceptional player as he matures. 5 years from now he'll be an absolute gun.
I only want to keep those that can & will make us better. JS & May are young, just starting & have massive upside. Crichton offers nothing & isn’t in our best team. Why try to hang onto a reserve grader when we want to get better.
Each to their own opinions.
Losing Manu, Toops, JWH, JS and possibly May is too much in one off season. Experience will need to be relied on with the transition.
We can't just buy anyone or expect juniors to be ready for A grade straight up. Time and depth will be needed.

Let’s hope I do
You do realise he will be doing the same this year moving around positions from left centre to right wing etc when players get injured as he is the back up 1st fill in outside back so he will be shifted again all year
i Do blame robbo for keeping him in the left centre role for months on end
when your management shop you around to the highest bidder behind your clubs back and you sign a $1.4ml contract expect the media to be at him for the rest of his career
in 5 years time that’s a lot of money to spend to hope he may be good by then
