  • Is Max Jorgensen any good

I keep hearing we are linked with Max Jorgensen but as I never watch Union can anyone shed light on his strengths and weaknesses?

Also if we did sign him in 2025 where would be his best position be, could he potentially replace Teddy one day ?

    Thanks

    I think it’s a media beat up.
Surely if we wanted a Teddy replacement we would be going hard for Suaalii to stay or to definitely come back after union.

      The guy is awesome.
He could definitely replace Teddy down the track.

He would be on the wing for a year to adapt to League again.

      Only 19yrs old atm.

      183cm
      90kgs

      Teddy (184cm / 95kg)

Also the son of Peter Jorgensen, former Wallaby, Roosters & Penrith winger from the late '90's early 2000's.

          He is very good
only 19 but plays like an experienced head
dispite his size can break tackles and very quick
Would Be a great fullback down the track
Jordan petaia would be a nice fit too

I reckon he agreed 6 months ago...coach wants him to take over Teddy

I don’t think he is as big as you say my understanding is he is certainly a good player with potential but at the moment not all that big or solid

From watching some highlights he reminds me of Reece Walsh, elusive, quick, draws players in and has a good passing game

Robbo talked about Max Jorgensen at the end of his media appearance today sounds like there is the potential for him to join the Roosters some time in the future it just might not be yet.

I think 2026, next year is a Lions tour and I think he would be keen to play in that . Would align well with Teddy potentially retiring

I can’t get excited about a player I’ve not seen play.

He’s not the physical presence like some outside back but plays well above his weight and very smart intelligent player so he would be fine
has a fully well rounded game

What about the plane he used to fly after scoring. When we smashed the vermin 62-4 Jorgo scored a few and that's what comes to mind about that game.

The Hayne plane was an imitator.
