Heard good things about this kid, apparently his dad was a rooster too?

My all time favourite player was his dad Horrie so hope this is true seeing another Hastings in the red, white and blue would be awesome.

        He's got the right pedigree.

If he ever made it to fg, I would get a tear in my eye.

Aren't horrie and his family in the us?????

Will young Jackson Hastings be subjected to the same 'only playing because of your surname' criticism that Mitchell "Jr Jr" Pearce does?

Wayne Pearce was the favorite son of the tigers.

Kevin "Horrie" Hastings was the favorite son for the chooks.Big difference there.

Everyone chookfan loves Horrie. Not ever chooks fan loves wayne.

Indeed, but I don't think he could ever overshadow his father and I never even saw him play. He just has a huge reputation.

I have him seen play. He is the goods. He is a fullback but could play five eighth, good step, speed and seems like a screwed on kid

Wow I thought this would never happen as I thought he was lost to the Merge, geez they can lose a signing can't they? Hope Horry jnr fulfils his apparent potential, can't wait to watch his development.

Let's hope that he turns out to be better than our old friend at the merge....

Jackson Hastings is to slow with ball in hands, his defence is not upto FG standard he cant put Sam Burgess on his back. His long & short kicking game need alot of refining, his long cutout bullet pass onto the chest of a flying winger isn't up to scratch. He cant read a game so that he is 3 rucks ahead of the team. He's not big enough or strong enough for FG plus he cant kick goals.

I just want to get in early, have I missed anything.

                          Welcome Jackson.

                            Horrie is our Chuck Norris.

He can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants to.

Gees he does himself no favours in the media - it's like he has gone out and got himself wanker training.

He is just getting by on his bloody surname - If his name wasn't Hastings he wouldn't have got past under 12s!
