  • Leniu's performance

Apart from the hysteria, how do you think he went? I thought he was the best of the ex-Panthers. Played a strong, aggressive game. I'd give him a 7 or 7.5 out of 10. Hope he gets over all this.

Thought he was great considering this was one of the rare times he’s started. Will only get better over time. Good post contact yardage, didn’t shy away from a hit up - and defended a lot better than I gave him credit for.

Aside from that - he’s bought an energy both on and off the field that we haven’t had at this club for a while. Takeaway the Mam incident - was constantly getting in the face of Brisbane and raring our boys up. Very confident he’ll turn out to be one of our better signings.

Coming on after JFH and Leota isnt exactly a tough ask. I think he is very very limited. Hope I'm proven wrong but was in a gun team and pack and pretty much lost effectiveness when asked to play more than 20min. Plenty of my mates follow the Riff, none were upset when they lost him....different story when they lost Steven Chrichton though

Did you happen to start the Tedesco is the worst Roosters recruit ever thread…?

Leinu played the first 25 or so against Manly and didn’t lose any effectiveness so that second point you made has already been disproved. Crichton is also one of, if not the best centre in the competition so makes sense they’d be upset to lose him more…

I thought he was solid. The second stint was better than the first. I think he can develop into a Sam Moa type. No JWH or TKO but will improve and be useful. I hope this crap doesn’t wreck his head.

Played well. Strong hitups, no errors, no penalties, and didn’t put a foot wrong defensively.
              EASTS TO WIN!
