Just reading the South’s fan pages and they are not a happy or optimistic bunch. Definitely not a lot of love for Latrell as they see his limitations unlike the commentators who think everything he does is amazing

Yeah I wouldn't get over-confident based on round 2 results.

Latrell ran 176m and scored a meat pie for a losing team. Mam made 4 missed tackles and ran 56m in a winning team where his HB was playing busted. Okay that's pretty shyte and suggests that Souffs were basically just out-muscled in the forwards by guys like Haas (186m in like ~55 mins) and Carrigan (222m in 80).

I don't agree with Latrell's brigading (IMO they simply picked the wrong person to #MeToo! It's as if they were looking for the equivalent of a Harvey Weinstein type figure, but ended up scoring an own goal instead by sensationalising a dubious technicality). However, I commend him for standing up for his own family and values.

Sounds as though Souffs basically just got outdone in the forwards by Carrigan and Haas, which allowed Walsh and Cobbo to run amok? Don't want them to but I know they always lift against us (i.e. play one hectic game a season where the bend us over [can I say that?] and the spend the rest of the season out on the balcony smokin' a post-coital durry [seriously who does that? I swear it's a myth perpetrated by the nicotine industry who are a bunch of scumbags so aaaaah... now I see the connection between them and Souffs]).

Back to the topic - I'm Souffs to show up next week ASSUMING we' aren't decimated by Manly (which could further complicate things). Taking NOTHING for granted this season. We've had a single good game which could evaporate this week if we approach games with too much emo cr@p and become unsettled. I just hope we man up and play some proper footy as we have a habit of playing more like Midnight Cowboys against Souffs [Apple's "sosumi" alert sound plays 5 times]
