Booing Latrell Mitchell was never about racism I did not attend the game but to my ears Cody Walker did not get booed that day I believe it was the first time we had played against Latrell Mitchell at home with our own fans in the stadium due to the pandemic, he had made derogatory and inflammatory remarks about the club and the fans when he left to join South Sydney and on top of that the attack on Joey Manu was still fresh in people's mind. Latrell got booed a little bit in the week after and not much since it was only one game where fans rightfully vented their anger towards him everyone on this website knows that's why it happened but anyone from outside of our fans who says otherwise is being disingenuous.

Bad sportsmanship in the stands is part of the fabric of our game.
Many a time was I, as a kid, horrified to hear a grandmother in the stays screaming ‘rip his head off’.
Boo’ing a conversion, a referee, any piss ant laying down in tackles, any former player, or anything you didn’t like was you right as a ticket holding leaguie.
Latrell broke Manu’s jaw.

IMO just focus on cheering for our players and pretend nothing's ever happened. Trell Mitt will come into the game wanting to prove his cause and show he's a victim. Just ignore him. We don't need to feed that fire.
JWH is back and Souffs are outta form. Should be a textbook win so long as we stick to our gameplan and play like we did against Brisbane.

Nice to see you back on here Mr Bond. I’ve stayed out of these discussions on this matter and away from this place as I find it quite distressing to see how Spencer has been treated and I worry for his mental health. Like someone else said, we all forgot he was part of a very satisfying win over in Vegas and that joy has all been marred by the fallout over a single word uttered on a football field. It’s been noted the provocation came from the Broncos in the first place and I do hope that one day the truth of what happened prior to Spencer’s actions will come out. It’s disappointing and frustrating that this was not revealed in the hearing, as in a true court of law, it wouldn’t be suppressed or ignored. If the comment was said in self defence, the right to know what Spencer was defending himself from should have been noted by those judging him, both inside and outside of the actual hearing. Liars do eventually trip themselves up and get found out and that applies to everyone from all walks of life no matter how funny or clever they think they are being at the time.Originally posted by 007 View Post

There always seems to be a massive over reaction and disproportionate banning when it involves one of our players and as Hollus rightly pointed out, you get less time on the sidelines for assaulting a woman. I hope those supporters like Thirteen who travelled to the game at least had a great experience nonetheless. My neighbour’s brother went over and he’s a lawyer..we need lots of them amongst our fanbase it seems..oh dear..!
