  • Latrell Booing - media circus to play out again

Once this round is over we play sSouths and the usual media stories and press conference questions about booing Latrell will be raised.

Let it be stated here, he is not booed because he is an Aboriginal, he is booed because he broke Manu’s jaw, because he left our club to play for the enemy, because he is a spiteful character who plays with a chip on his shoulder.

Unfortunately he and others don’t see it that way. Booing is just another form of acknowledgment. Better to ignore him until
he makes a mistake and then offer up the bronx cheer!

Latrine is the bad guy of the NRL these days and it's his own damn fault. He wanted to be an indigenous leader and role model but has failed. Now he is a dirty tantrum thrower and wanna be media personality. he accused us of being a racist club with racist fans. Fark him.

We all know why we boo Latrell.

But I really I hope we don't boo Latrell in round 3.

The media will spin it into the Roosters being a racist club.

          It's not worth it.

It's a lose lose situation. Last year the media tried to say Easts were racist. Leniu did his thing and the moronic media will sniff out a headlinefor round 3. Look for Latrine to be interviewed about it before and after the game. Hard racists are outcasts these days and any suggestion that Easts and Easts fans are racist is ludicrous and simply not true.

Who cares what the media says.
I personally don’t boo any player but I don’t care if others do
All top players get booed so bring it on.

Sadly a lot of companies and organizations melt down under the attention of the media.

Not the content of Melanin in his skin but the content of his character. He's a leader of native Australian's like Jimmy Governor was.

He should now be booed for his involvement or words in regards Lenius hearing

Is booing monkeys & coconuts racist or derogatory? According to the nrl judiciary, it's the latter, I think? So Confusing.

We also boo him because the little baby clearly gets upset by it and plays like a busted ass when he gets upset

Why hasn't PVL sanctioned him (Mitchell)? It's all there in black & white - Mitchells words not mine. One rule for Souths/Broncos/Monkeys - another rule for Easts/Coconuts. PVL and Abdo are nothing but hypocrites. Obviously influenced by social media so as they look to be doing the right thing to appease the masses.

I've been called a pom (as well as many other things that may seem offensive as I'm sure most of us have encountered) all my life and is that any worse than being called a monkey or a coconut? Do I take offence? No, not at all. I just smile and say, "and proud of it" and move on.

Seriously - a monkey or a coconut? six of one, half a dozen of the other.

As for the members of the judiciary - they should have a good, long hard look at themselves. Prove Leniu is a racist. How I wish the Roosters would have taken this further and it would be the panel who would find themselves up on racism. They (judiciary) then throw in the Adam Goodes (ape) and Andrew Symonds (monkey) scenarios that Leniu would have been unaware of (think how old he was and where he was living at the time and possibly his interest (or lack thereof in AFL and Cricket) and they are seriously doing nothing but contradicting themselves.

And as for the other bandwagon jumpers (Thurston in particular, Lote Tuqiri and Cody Walker just to name a few) who had it in for Leniu from the start - why not come forward and say you've never made a so called racist/derogatory remark on the field. And after you've told a pack of lies - tell the truth and what you actually said.

Kudos to Manly's Haumole Olakau'atu for putting it all into perspective.

And as much as I'm not a fan of Anthony Mundine, in this instance I consider him to be spot on.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".
