I mean roosters v souths is a huge matchup regardless but when you factor in Wightons first game in South's colours and big JWH's 300th (fingers crossed) it's mind boggling.

I understand every team cops 5 day turn arounds, but its the timing of this one the blows. We could've played this Saturday and at least had 6 days. I don't know, I just don't get it.. surely you could've straight swapped our game with Sharks/Knights on tonight or Cows/Knights on Saturday arvo. Stadium scheduling and TV ratings obviously come into but I just think it's pretty lacklustre from the NRL.

Rant over, curious to hear others views.
The NRL the refs the bunker are all out to get the Chooks.

Surely the NRL could do the same.
There is about 16 games with 5 day turnaround,

Richmond even had one from from their rd1 game to when they played Carlton on Thursday night.

Robinson’s record on 5-day turn arounds is actually very good.

And when I’ve heard him talk about them before he says that you’re essentially just missing some skill and game planning sessions. He says they still get in a full recovery and preparation for the game so I don’t see it being a big issue.

Missing some skill and game planning sessions is important early in the season, less so in the back half of the year. Robbo is the most language aware Coach in the game, so always keeps the rhetoric positive and self-owned. Teaches his players to do it too, it's about the mindset.
