Once again, discipline cruels us, as well as some dubious reffing. Keary had a shocker, and so did Walker. Our defence was admirable.

The short turn around might be a blessing now.
Keary will be unlikely to play..id imagine Sandon slots in at 5/8 and Watson onto the bench. Toups also looked like he was carrying a rib injury at the end but ill imagine he will get needled and be right.

All 4 starters in the spine are natural attacking players though, no organisers.

None of the Vegas teams looked slick this weekend - coincidence?

Given the amount of ball Manly were gifted by the ref and through our own stupidity, we did well defensively to hold them to only 3 tries.
In my opinion, our halves were absolutely atrocious, particularly Keary, and our centres were equally poor with and without the ball. It seems that Keary has more poor games in him these days than good ones. I still don’t think Suaalii is a centre and was caught out defensively a number of times, as was Manu, who needs to start earning the best centre in the world tag. Absolutely schooled at 3, 4, 6 and 7.
The hard work of our forwards kept us in the game, Radley, Collins and May our best. We looked better with B Smith at 9 and he probably should have been brought back on earlier. Likewise, it would have been good to see Whyte’s energy in the back end of the 1st half. JWH needed the run and will get better in the coming weeks. Teddy played well, but he can’t do all the creative stuff himself. Nice to finally see some real speed in the team.

it’s very simple, most games we complete above 80% we win, sadly this rarely happens now days
