I hate playing Manly at Brookvale as it rarely ends well. Hoping today will be different and we can back up the great win in Las Vegas.

Manly by....hmm I might just hold back for today.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Single seat at a suburban footy ground sets you back $85?...no wonder people choose to watch it on the box.

Chooks too big , too strong and very fit.
            Manly's tactic...

            - Olakau'atu and the two larger Trbo brothers dominate our forwards.

            - The giraffe distributes consistent ball to everybody and sets up some mad opportunities.

            - Luke Brooks FINALLY comes of age and schools us as the worldbeating half he is.

            - Tommy Trbo breaks lines all over the place and scores a hat-trick of low percentage tries down the middle off DCE boots into traffic.

            ---

As the Japanese would say... ganbatte!

              Happy Paddy’s everyone.

Beat souths on Paddy’s last year, was a great way to celebrate a great day. Now it’s Manly’s turn.

                Heavy showers

Partly cloudy. High chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm. Light winds becoming NE 15 to 20 km/h in the late afternoon then becoming light in the evening.
Wish I was in Sydney to be at this game. Thunderbolts and lightning on a wet track in Manly. Scaramouche, Scaramouche, we will do the Fandango on the Manly Seagles. Great to see JWH back and it's a super bench we have for this match. Easy win.

We will win by 30 today.
A lot of experts say how great Manly are after beating Souths in Vegas.
I can't understand why Souths are one of the favourites to win the comp, I really can't.
They have won 4 NRL matches in their last 14 games and 3 of those were against the Saints, Titans and Tigers, to me that's not a premiership threat.
Manly will have false belief they can match us but we will embarrass them big time.

What’s with the doomsday cult on here, it’s our second game of the season coming off the back of arguably our best R1 performance in over a decade. We’ll be galvanised off the back of the Spencer fiasco and welcome back Dom and JWH, we win and we win well!

                    Up the chookies!!!!

They are called in demand tickets, not sure but i think they are put up as re sale, a few days ago there was nothing up for sale in the Grandstands. The section of the Menzies/ Lyons stand which are $85 now were $54 about two weeks ago. On Friday they had tickets for sale in the Jane Try stand and they were right in the corner for $150.

I was going to get tickets in the Menzies/ Lyons stand for $54 a couple of weeks ago , i looked at them late at night and even though there was limited spots i thought i would wait till the morning but when i looked again in the morning they were gone. The last time i went to Brookvale the Menzies/ Lyon stand was part of the general admisdion ticket so you could sit there for the same price as the hill.

I’d rather take Mrs Walker to the $41 all you can eat Japanese restaurant in Rose Bay

Anyone out around the Manly area now ? How's the weather looking ? Travelling from a fair distance and with my little ones a bit hesitant if the rain has set in as our seats aren't covered
