Well, after reading 7 pages I have come to my answer for this one.
It is the same opinion I held before starting to read.

As stated by several posters here, the guy has always had discipline issues, apart from being waaaay overpriced.
We have cleaned out (hopefully) this type. Why go back for another crap sandwich?
He's another talented footballer that has done himself an injustice by not giving himself every chance to be one of the best.

Chasing Jennings would be stupid. He is way over priced at $600k...if we were talking $300-400k then maybe you would be interested. But he would be a waste of money.

The main reason we wont go there is because we already have 3 quality centres. SKD and Moga will be our first choice centres for a few years to come (lets hope), and BJ will also fill the spot until Moga cements his position or if there is an injury.

We obviously have a little money since $BW didnt sign with us, I think we should invest in a decent hooker and/or a decent winger (someone who actually has some pace). I think all the other positions in our team are well covered.

and there are so many many more mostly all duds, look at parra the last 5 yrs! You always pay overs for stars which means less quality in the squad.

The skill of those combined is not in the same class a SBW

You only have to watch Jennings' half arsed performances for the Panfers to realise he's not the type of player we need at this club. If he doesn't have the heart and guts to perform on a weekly basis for the club who nurtured, mentored and developed him since his teenage years, the Roosters have got buckleys of getting the best out of him.

Yes he has a blinder every now and again (eg against us this year) but those type of performances are pretty rare and in between is plenty of mediocrity and laziness. We can get all that for much less money than Jennings would cost.

Agreed Novice Chook. He is obviously mentally weak and you cannot win grand finals with those types in your team, no matter how talanted that individual is. For all the critism aimed at SBW lately, at least he is mentally strong and would not let you down in a high pressure game. He has proved that on numerous occasions.

I had thought we needed a replacement fullback and wingers, but I think in recent weeks we've seen what's brewing with Moga on the wing, BJ and SKD in the centres etc. Also Shek should get a chance at the back.

All we need is a 5/8, and one's coming.

If we can afford him, Sonny-Bill will make the team we've got brewing completely phenomenal.

I think the backs just need games under their belt.
