Picking up on King Salvo’s comments re bad rules can we also stop the stripping rule unless it’s always one on one.
Can’t see how it’s fair if there is 4 in the tackle - 1 stealing the ball while the other 3 are trying to turn you into a pretzel and all of a sudden 3 break away and you have lost the ball.
totally fair - not.

I'm fine with the call IF they are consistent with it. Which they are not.
Contesting a kick should be allowed but apparently they sent out a carbon copy example of what happened in this instance to all coaches and people in the media and said that it would be penalised this year. Which it clearly was not.
Graham is a muppet, I'd have more respect if he just admitted the error. Instead his incompetency shines through.

Simply getting to the position first is not enough, the NRL specifically said you must be competing for the ball and the dead give away is that Turbo never jumps and never stretches his arms out to attempt to catch the ball.
When is the last time you saw a player catch a contested ball on the try line in their lap witbout having to jump and stretch for it? Turbo knew exactly what he was doing and to be fair to him he's outplayed the refs and the refs boss.
I think you make some very good points though.
We all know for damn sure that if that happened at the other end of the field, the try would have been taken away from Easts. The bunker would not have batted an eyelid before pressing their 'deny' button.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I'm getting bored of Anuseley speaking out of his anus every week when trying to justify the incorrect calls the refs make.

Well that explanation completely backs my theory up that this rule is an arbitrary one and will be used when it suits an agenda and not used if if it suits an agenda
Obviously a full house at Brookvale on a Sunday afternoon this won’t be used against Manly but would be in the same circumstances should it be the other team. All that is needed to defend either decision is to say it was or was not done with cynicismWhen you trust your television

shocker from annesley. unless it's a direct try scoring opportunity (when you want to seriously go for the ball) we should get tall timber to run straight to the spot where a bomb is going to drop and hold the arms out as if you're looking for the ball
