Heading to Allianz for the first time since being rebuilt. Interstate member.
Staying in darling harbour and wondering if we should head to the entertainment quarter before the game early or what’s is the best plan??

Make sure you walk via Foveaux St. There a pubs along the way and there will be plenty of fans walking from Central.

Keg and Brew, El Loco, Foresters, Cricketers Arms.

If you catch the light rail up, then the Ent Qtr should have a bit of a buz...in recent times, the bar between the SCG and Allianz has been activated for big matches...I think it might even be at the bottom of the sCG stand? Plenty of food choices if needed. (maybe book?)
And there is always a buz on Driver Ave as they block it off from traffic. Especially around the front of the ground.
Coming in from the Moore Park Rd end isn't as "active".

Walking up Foveaux is an option for pub hopping and food.

Alternatively Oxford St and down Regent to the ground...but not as active as the other options.

Reserve Grade kicks off at 5:30pm so I would make the most of it and come for that. The food offerings are now really decent at the new ground

I live interstate these days and will be at my old local The Nelson Hotel before the game. And probably until stumps after the game.

What about Coogee to the stadium? Should I just Uber it, or is the tram a good option?

Get to the club and take the free shuttle.

              I think it’s still going?

Just catch the bus from Coogee, it drops you on Anzac parade, to catch the tram, you have to catch a bus to Randwick, to catch the tram, so doesn’t really make sense.

you can also catch a bus from Coogee to Bondi junction and then catch the shuttle from the club, but if your taking the kids, the club isn’t really an entertaining option TBH.

From Coogee beach either a 373 or 374 will get you to Moore Park, the 373 goes onto the city but you have to get off at the Cleveland St corner ( the tennis centre ) as there is no stop for ages after that , the 374 turns down Cleveland St to Central so you have to get off at the Cleveland st / Anzac Parade corner. It is only about a 5-7 minute walk to Allianz from there or you are right at the EQ centre ( Fox studios )

Love the Nelson. One of the few remaining old pubs. Hasn't been gentrified.

The Terminus Hotel in Pyrmont is a great pub. You can then get the light rail to Central and then the light rail to the SFS.
