  • Drongos v Riff

Always good to see a Queensland side being reamed . The penalty for someone touching Ezra on the face was a bit rich , racial touching ??

Haha...you gotta be careful round Ez.

Bronx havent got the attacking threats without Reynolds and Walsh. That Mitch Kenny try was a regulation double movement...clanger from Sutton.

I said after 3 rounds last year that the Broncos were the real deal & after 3 rounds this year I can say they are not the real deal.
The Panthers again are the real deal even though they continually lose players.
I posted last week that I dont think they can win 4 in a row but they will give it a good shake though if Cleary stays fit.
I look at the Roosters & think what a top side we have but then I get disheartened when we lose to Manly.
The Chooks have a top quality side but I just worry about the halves.
I still dont think we can win the comp & I think Melbourne can so Im sticking with Melbourne to win the comp.

What can you expect when the Drongos are playing without their three best players?

Missing their 3 best players tonight, wouldn't read too much into this result.

Penrith look to have clocked off Wonder if that last try will kick them into gear again

No Capewell, Fairnworth & Flegler have made them a weaker side.
Yes credit to you for pointing out no Reynolds, Hass & Walsh but they are not the top team they were last year because of the players they have lost.

Big call re Melbourne Mickey ,they’ll be in the mix somewhere for sure . You’ve got to pay respect to Bellamy , to continually put out a team that challenges for the premiership regardless of who he has to work with is unparalleled. Best coach in my lifetime no doubt.
I certainly agree with you on the halves for us . They both can be world beaters on their day but those days are few and far between and we definitely struggle with the really tough grind it out type of game that Reynolds and Cleary can thrive in . Sammy is a great touch footy of the cuff player who needs 2 to 3 more seasons under his belt and Keary is a runner who’s lost of a bit of pace ,and while he has plenty of heart he’s just too slight for the on going rigours of NRL. We’ll be in there somewhere but will need a few things to go our way .

I agree broncos 17 is a lot worse then last year
                    lost 3 rep players
only missing 3 players yes they are their best but we could loose 3 and have a next man up!
broncos bench is very average! Fletcher baker is on there and he was about out 7th best prop in the club last year

In Qld they think they walk on water... so a taste of reality for them, is nice to watch. They are a good side, with some special players... but last year was pretty much layed out, somewhat scripted almost, for them to win in a fairytale... but didn't.

If you believe the Chooks face forces off the field, to halt their success... the Donkeys are a club on the NRLs "hero" list.

Have been for quite a long time. They’ve just been so shyt in recent years, they couldn’t take advantage of it.
