Back from a thoroughly enjoyable evening at the footy Hard to gauge where we are from that. Yes we looked good but South’s were terrible Next week will be our true test

Agreed. Last year when we played the riff in round one I think the score was 48-4 so nothing to get carried away with today. Souths were so bad we looked great but the real test is can we avoid a 35 point thrashing next week? Penrith are not Souths.

Still a work in progress and things to work on but it should be obvious to the players what they need to do in games and what they can achieve if they get the basics right.

Penrith have nailed the basics the past 4 seasons and will be a stern test for the Roosters next Thursday 28th March. Be Interesting to see if the Roosters can breakdown Penrith's yardage and field position game

Got home recently, having a drink, watching the replay and loving every minute of it. Gonna ride this high for a while.

Watching the replay the completion rate was in the mid 90s for most of the game. Live at the game I couldn't remember many errors other than a few late in the game when the result was determined. Which is probably why they finished in the 80s

Respect to JD for the special shoutout to JWH.
our enforcer definitely has the respect from everyone in footy circles

He only said something because it was expected. IMO he’s a flog. His real opinion of JWH was aired after the 22 semi final.

Yeah I bash 'Trell-Mitt but IMO there's a special level of respect for JWH. After the game, Trell gave him a massive hug and some words of praise. Could see there was something special going on there.

Respect to them for staying out there but more importantly, how darn good is JWH to have earned that sorta respect from his enemies!!! Souffs fans spent all day heckling me about how (supposedly) JWH was gonna get binned for his 300th game. Yeah nah... he schooled those vermin (I can call them that... right?)
