other option which I’m not a hugh fan of if requires they may start Watson at 13 and s smith at 14. With rads on the edge and one of Nat butch or sitili on the bench for the extra middle forward! However this does disrupt the team a lot

What an awful thread following a great win we should be still celebrating.
For the record guys like Ted, Kez and JWH are first picked when available. All champions in their own right. We have a nice blend of youth and experience this year.
But don't over read a big win against an ordinary out of form team. Significant class drop on our first two weeks and what we'll face next week.
On Kez his only poor game in living memory was last week, when the whole team was bad. Was brilliant Round 1 and certainly one of our best in our 7/9 late charge last year to unluckily miss the grand final qualifiers. People have some very short term recall and skewed reasoning.
You won't win a comp with two rookie halves. And I hope Kez is back for the Panthers clash next werk. I expect him and Sam to both play. It will be a different story next week taking on Cleary and co.
Maybe Sam can take the organiser/lead role more and Kez play his natural running game. Would be happy if that's how our coaching staff are building this year.
Sandon has a good future and the fact we lost two promising halves like Lam and Volkman shows the regard the club has for him. He will definitely get his chance. Much prefer Watson in that hooker sub role than in the halves. That's more the selection call...whether to use him or Sandon in the 14 role. A pleasant headache.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

Always sideways. Can still pull out a good game like he did in Vegas, but I don't think he helps our attack, or at least not as much as if you partner Smith with Walker. If we stick with Keary running the show we make Walker take a back seat and we may not see Smith at all. That's the wrong option I reckon.
Keary was absolutely great for us, but he’s not that player anymore and hasn’t been for some time. It’s become very apparent that Walker will never be given the chance to run this team with Keary in it, meaning we will won’t get to see the best from Walker. Re-signing Keary for another year was a mistake in my view; he’s a running half that’s lost his pace and he definitely isn’t an organiser. I’m not sure what he adds to the team anymore. He crabs sideways across the field and often crowds our attack, giving the pill to our attacking weapons in poor positions. We looked so much better with the attack straightened up.

I did enjoy the tempo, directness and how deep into the line Sandon was playing on the weekend. Things that used to by synonymous with Luke Kearys game, hopefully we see him back at his best soon.
