He was great on the Footy show today - has really matured. Speaking less like a toddler and 1.5years Sober.

Back here with his French missus, commentating on MMM with the Knights game this evening.

Suggest you search out the segment/interview and wish him all the best.

He blew me away. Articulate, mature and authentic in front of the cameras. Well done Mitch!

By the very point of him being 1.5 years Sober he has.

Is he involved at our club at all?
I thought Robbo said he would be welcome in some capacity once he retired.
            I might be wrong.

How funny was it when Joey Johns said to him the national dog of France is the poodle.
I liked it when he said that him & Todd Carney are going to start up a halves academy.
People carry on about the behavior of certain footy players but my whole involvement of playing footy when I was younger & watching it as I get older is that blokes like Pearce, Carney, Cheese, Munster & others are knockabouts who play a tough sport & party hard. That’s the type of bloke that plays this top game of Rugby League.
                I love them.

Speaks volumes that Pearce was the one that handed JWH his jumper for his 300th game.

Well done to the both of you and premiership players in 2013.

I wish him all the best too. Watched the segment, Mitch is about as entertaining as watching not much. Still speaks "like a toddler" as you put it. Boring as batshit, didn't answer any of the questions in a smart or interesting way, even when the hosts threw him so many bones he could have elaborated on. Hopeless and was utterly boring

Glad he's sober I guess though.

Yeh speaks volumes of the regard he’s held in amongst his peers.

Always one of the fittest players at the club and played with a lot of heart so no surprise really.

                            Good to hear.

TBH he bothered me the last time I met him (Canberra in 2013) as there was a members meet and greet. All the players were up talking to fans... he was off about 20m away, swearing his head off to somebody on the phone. It was enough to make me think 'what's going on there son?!? It's a meet and greet... surely that call can wait...'

No, he did an interview with James Graham (on YouTube if you want to watch) about 3 months ago. Said he’s hoping to get into a bit of coaching if an opportunity arises.

Justin Holbrook also did a really good interview with James Graham in the pre-season too that I’d recommend. Said Trent mixes in good humour in his talks to the team - took me by surprise.
