Apart from the obvious ball control and field posession
the point of difference we have atm is our height in the outside back
our backs range from 6”4’ to 6”7 where they don’t have one over 6”
    we need to use them!
Our forwards will need to do their bit. They'll be targeting Tupouniau. He's a dead set liability at A defender on the short side. He switches off! I thought Angus played well against the Souffs. He needs more game time imo. Walker and Kez need to run the ball more. This worked well for the Broncos in the 1st half of the GF. Roosters expansive style footy is a must! Set for set won't cut it.

Whyte is truly special!! I'm looking forward to watching him perform against the comps best team.

    Chooks by 6.
    Manu 1st try scorer.
    Teddy man of the match.

the other reason is that he was rubbish against Manly. Nat Butcher took his spot.
Think it will be Whyte and Gus as the front row rotation
Egan butch will be edge rotation
if one of the front rowers go down they will move sitili or Nat butch into the middle before Egan

Surely we put the Panthers to the sword TW. Expecting us to win by 14. Fairly confident
That's a big call. I admire your confidence though.

Hard with sitili as he is also an enforcer and can put on great shots as well
maybe in the middle he better for him
Whyte is a gun looks like an SST who can play middle and edge - perfect forward in todays game very mobile and footwork in contact
interesting when Leniu comes back would not be surprised is all our front rowers are fit and available that he may have to come back through res grade? Whyte was the man at the start to loose his spot but hard to drop any of them for Leniu atm

The Chooks have a better spine for this game then the Panthers & overall I think the Roosters have a better team so I’ll be disappointed if we don’t get the win but I will also praise the Panthers if they get over us.

I'm not a fan of Egan at all .

everytime i watch him, all he does is drop the ball .

but I hope he has a blinderblii think nat is the superior player and it ain't close .

Agree with most sentiments on here. I don't think Wong was diabolical against Manly. Certainly no worse than some of our other forwards. I'd suspect that Robbo sees him solely as an edge player whereas Egan is probably more suited to the middle.

As some have said, Cleary out is easier yes but the game will still be our toughest of the year. They're a winning machine and they win most games without Cleary. We need to be at our best and win well. A good win here is nice and because Penriff have excuses for losing, it'll be keep us under the radar a little bit.

We will have to bring our very best game to make a game of it. Very promising signs so far this season. Can we cause an upset? I hope so

Not sure if you have watched a game before but Egan is putrid on an edge

He is a middle only and even then has hands that would rival a Burgess

When he first came into firsts he was used through the middle a bit. His leg speed and fast play the balls were sensational...but like you say, his handling is horrendous and hasn't improved as yet.

More abuse from the VD man.

You're a pitiable creature, but I don't actually pity you.

I'm pleased to see that my posts upset you so much. Would you like a tissue for your issue?
