I hope his contract is based on games played.
He is a liability and due to the salary cap, we can't keep him for sentimental reasons. Harsh I know.

Ethan Strange would be a nice pick up!

He's 24 and still hasn't broken that nose by the looks of it. How lucky is that

I don't think anyone's arguing with that bugle.

            Injuries are cruel
had the left centre spot locked up all pre season to go to Vegas and get injured before round 1. Had to come back through res grade in round 3 to get injured again
he is not on huge money so more holding a roster spot then a lot of coin but is a little surprising they re signed him for so long
let’s hope he gets back at some point
            2025

This - Billy has re-signed for unders every year.

Injury free he is a 600k centre
We are getting him for $250-300k

Which is about right considering he misses half a year

Another unlucky break for Billy, but fortunately he isn’t on huge dollars like Manu and Suaalli. Last year showed how good he is when fully fit and IMHO he outshone Manu for much of the year and was a hell of a lot better than Suaalli. He’s had three careers worth of injuries already and he’s only 24, so he’s not ready for the scrap heap just yet. Fortunately the Tigers persisted with Teddy’s major injuries early in his career; he’s gone pretty good since I reckon. Billy is one of ours and I’ll continue to support him.

                    He'll be back.

I get the feeling Jess' ex will be one of centres next year.

Such a shame we never got to see the best of Pappy at the Roosters,a special talent who was cruelled by injury..

Trying hard to find something positive or encouraging to say.

Cant use "poor bloke" or "he'll be back" anymore.

But Break Down Billy always comes to mind.

Its a soap opera now with his injuries.

Your right Pappy was special and it was a real shame we didn't see the best of him over a longer period, Dynamite off both feet, and acceleration to match. Still, done pretty well for himself, still a Rooster and switched on, I enjoy his commentary and opinions on Talkin Sport.

As for Billy, still a fan and hoping he can string some good footy together over a long period in the future. He doesn't seem like one to give up on himself so not about to give up on him. He really looked the goods last season. My 86 year old mum who is also a Roosters fan thinks he probably didn't drink enough milk as a youngen.
