Score line was very flattering in the end.

We seem to attack well in the opposition 20, we seem to defend well in our own 20 it’s just everything that happens in between those 20metre lines that we seem to struggle to control.

Manly & Penrith have very comfortably controlled possession, tempo & field position in their games against us. That was not just a loss against a generational club side, it was a repeat of our short comings only 2 weeks prior which is concerning.

A repeat of the Manly game by not being able to get into the game. I liked our effort by not throwing in the towel. Territory and possession a killer for us with a weak kicking game. Special mentions to Manu and Watson. We looked better in attack without Keary last week.
Furthermore with Butler in the bunker reminded me of his performance years ago on the SCG against the Broncos. The betting on that game just like tonite was very odd.

Brad Arthur has the closest blueprint in playing this dominant Panthers team....offloads, chance your arm playing width, challenge them with ball movement. We got sucked in.

Penrith are good in the Penrith system. Take them out of it and they fail. Just look at Cleary in SOO. Looks like a reserve grader.
