They make **** all mistakes it’s amazing. Never seen such an error free side in all my life. They’re like some chatgpt bot.

Some of our guys should take a leaf. They couldnt hold on to a pen in a contract signing.

Their intensity and focus was superior for longer periods of the game. We can win the comp if we play at our best for 80 minutes.

The Penrith goal line defense wasn't that good last night. Our bumbling attack got over easily enough on the few occasions we got down there. NRL have admitted Bunker was wrong on Manu's try. They belted a poor Roosters side in the middle of the field but could have done better at the ends of the field. The score really did flatter us.

Will they be demoted or fined - that's what I want to know. How these clueless clowns can conspire to snuff out giving Easts an even break during a game shits me to tears. Last week against Souffs, all 9 tries were awarded without bunker interference. The only time they got involved was when Fatrell impeded Teddy, but they managed to get that wrong despite having a leisurely sit down for an hour beforehand.

The hare and the tortoise. Their play the ball speed was the key in the first half. So freaking fast. We let them up early and yet they seem to get away with slowing us down.
Our consistant addiction having to run 1 off ruck up the middle third is so boring and predictable.
Umbrella defence along with our centres miss timing hits or missing tackles completely is costing us. Sewwaree did it last night like Manu did on brookes v manly game. It just doesnt work. It just give the opposition a bigger gap to hit. The riffs D is one long fast steaight line...simple really...

They had us on the backfoot for most of the match. We made too many errors to compete with their relentless go forward.

I think they stand off side 2 tackles in every set of six

We were shyt last night and they played great yet we still only lost by 6 points. We had a disallowed try that should have been given and they scored twice off plays that included forward passes.

We aren’t far off the mark.
I understand we played poorly but a lot of that being due to Penriths pressure, speed, intensity limiting our meters losing the ruck, forcing errors and we’re kicking off the back foot with guys not known for their long kicking game, impossible to win against them.

Melbourne done the exact same thing to the riff in round 1 minus their Talisman Munster and FRF enforcer NAS, they kept a fully fit Riff side to zero that’s super impressive, however even they cannot keep that up game after game as last weekend showed against the knights, the warriors had the game the week before lost on the siren.

Cooper booted us out of trouble time and time again against the likes of a very strong storm and south’s teams back a few years.

James Maloney same thing even Pearce had a decent long kick something we have not had since Cooper retirement, if you were under pressure this is is where a general like Cooper shone through could turn the tide with a great kick.

You simply can’t give up cheap ball against them 99/100 they will make you pay.

Penrith are beatable but you must be at your best in terms of defence and attack with ball handling and field posession to stand a chance
the storm did it in round 1 and mentioned above with no Munster and Nelson
back when the storm were dominant come 18-19 the chooks were the only team who could beat the storm playing their style
the storm were troubled when teams like parra and raiders played really loose footy which the storm found hard to defend and disrupted their game
to beat Penrith now only the storm can match them and play the Penrith game
other teams like parra have got the wood over the riff recently buy playing the really loose game with passing, offloads and loose structure
then in Origen with half a riff side for nsw qld suffocated the blues multiple times - which made luai get dropped and even yep pushed back to the bench
so yes anyone is beatable, but you must be at your best to give yourself a chance v the riff, and most likely need to put them off their game to make them frustrated

Even though we lost by only 6 felt like we were miles away from them. Im so sick of performances like this! Im sick of everyone saying how the roosters have the best side on paper but cant even get out of our own end. I think its time for a massive shake up … first one gone is keary its time to face facts its over. A little less rapping and a bit more hard work might help aswell. Imagine if we had someone who could kick a freaking ball and get us out of trouble. We need someone to partner sam for the next ten years. I know its only early in the year but god that was painful last night… time to start recruiting people who want to kill not be part time rappers

Way more than any team in the comp. Every team has strength and conditioning regimes - our fitness has definitely improved from last year. But the whole squad at Penrith seems to just be at full throttle for 80 minutes every game all year. And yet the second any of them leave Penrith for another club, they lose it. Fascinating.

it’s not only us they’ve done it to this season.. pretty much all sides they’ve faced have been the same. So it just makes me think how do they do it? Is it technique? Our boys like to hold the ball carrier and get numbers in but can be exposed to offloads or PCM. Maybe more of just cutting the player?

                                I don’t know but man it’s crazy.
Paul Kent mentioned that every one of Penriths lower grade teams are coached in the same structure and plays as their 1st grade team, so when a player is injured and a reserve gets a call up, they seamlessly can adapt.

this is a team they could make up from the players that have left since making their first grade
