Rts used to play 1st five in rugby union then moved to fullback to give him more room and opportunities to run with the ball in hands coz 1st five in rugby union need to distribute his team than running with the ball, yes he does have a kicking game. I guess he just follow the instructions how to play the plan from the coaches.

Watmough ilk would squash him as they use him as a speed hump on their way to the tryline.

But its easier to lol@eels than to lol@souffs
The Eels have a 550k flop, dusty surface at Parra stadium that was looked down by Cleary in a post match interview, sitting last on the ladder, lost 39-6 to the Panthers, Hayne cant clean up a ball, Poore is asking for a realese, their junior base sucks, Burt wants out, crappy coach, had to go to an AGM and apologise to their fans and their own fans threw coins at em also lost 42-6 to the Cowboys and expect a big flogging coming from the Roosters, Broncos and Storm. Their forward pack also got rated the worst in the comp and Phil Gould called their club a disgrace!
Their player of the year last year was Reni Maitua what a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gould shouldn't be throwing stones as Penrith are pretty much on par with Parra in the disgrace department.

The riff have massive cap problems and i can't see how with the calibre of players they have on their roster.

There was talk that Michael Gordon had signed with the Sharks yesterday, and farrkwit Gould came out with a press release spitting his dummy like a little bitch.

If you listen to anything that silver headed farrkwit thinks then you're a bigger goose than i gave you credit for.

The guy is 18 & in his first year of playing League. He is going OK in the 20's where he should be.

Playing him off the bench to cover what position?
The guy will get his chance if he is good enough.

Give him a year or two. He will get some first grade next year at some point.

It worked for Ben Barba. He played on the bench until Patten went and now hes a superstar!
Playing on the bench got him used to first grade if he was stuck in toyota cup he would be equivalent to Nathan Gardner or Coote but now hes one of the most best back going around

Ben Barba was killing it in NYC and had years of league behind him. RTS is far from killing it in NYC and is 'new' to league. Huge difference.

Jason Taylor has done a great job with this kid. I am glad Taylor didn't go to Parra. He is the ideal replacement for Smith having coached all these talented kids coming through. I have a feeling Nick is grooming him. I would select Taylor before thinking of going back to Stuart. Any coach (including the Melbourne one) would love to get their hands on our roster. It's important to come up with the right man. It may well still be Smith.

Thats debatable. Being an ex FG coach & having a pretty good roster like he has, IMO the team should be first.

IMO if the Roosters are going to go the whole nine yards with POS & the youth recruitment policy then it's only fair to all these young up & comers that they get the best coach in the business. The coach that has been in nearly every GF's since 2006.

So you would rather RTS who is in his debut season, learning the game at his preferred position in the 20's to come onto the bench (and play where? For how long?) over the likes of Masoe/Tasi/Takairangi/Cordner/Bosden/Mitchell?
                            Interesting.
