Opinions are like armholes, but I wouldn't swap Kez for any other 6 in the comp.

As for Sam, comparing him with others on that halves list is silly. They all have more miles on the clock, he's still a work in progress. You have to develop players, esp playmakers and be patient. I'm not completely sold on him, but respect the judgement of greater minds within the club. He has plenty of talent.
Nope Just Pointing out for those saying it's the best squad that they are not comparing the players against other players in the same position in the NRL as far as rankings go to make such a judgement.

    • Is cleary the best coach going around now?yes he is.
Jaded team last week in reality had no hope.
Is Robbo a good coach ? he is ..lost his way a bit ...He has a lot of building to do once he gets the teams defense right at the moment its patchy .
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Again you're just rewriting history to suit your narrative, hes always been a 50-55min per game player.

I think Robinson deserves criticism for Brandon Smith, but not for his inability to coach him but rather his decision to sign him on the back of 2021 that was an anomaly of a season.
I was asking a question … I was not aware of his exact minutes in Melbourne other than I know he split time with a couple of quality 9s

He should be playing around 60 with us … either at dummy half or lock depending … he needs to be on the field

And obviously I disagree … he was a highly rated buy for a reason … it is up to the coach to get him playing to his previous level at least

"The team is poorly coached by Les Tricolores".....so Les it's your own fault mate.

That’s 85% of games won. I think there’s a lot of poorly coached teams out there. Or maybe they’re just a one in a generation team.
I asked if you could go through their lineup from the other night … there were a lot of average players out there … they are indeed superbly coached

                13. Cotter
                14. Mclean
I think your judgements are way off … Collins has dominated at Origin level … but you would rather have McLean? that is quite a headscratcher right there King Salvo

Rather than judging who is the very best in each position there is no point ranking players as the difference between top end players is often minimal and not ordinal

For example … you could rightly say Keary is no longer the best 6 in football … but on his day … like Walker … he can outplay anyone on your list

I will appraise the squad for you … it has no weaknesses

Front rowers … excellent mix of talent youth and experience

Hooker/dummy half/utility … two very good options … and no Hutch … that’s addition by subtraction right there

Backrow/lock … a trio of Australian/Origin level players and some quality backup

Halves … a savvy club legend and a prodigious natural … no Kyle Flanagans

3/4s … the best in the game hands down

Fullback … Australian captain and all time great … still must be considered the best in the game until further notice

This is indeed the best squad in league … the more pertinent question now is whether the coach is good enough

More premiership winning players in there’s than ours I would suggest.

No official qualifications … just like the guy Robbo used to pay 10s of thousands to whisper sweet nothings in his ear

                      I’ll do great

Mate, Keary is only the 3rd best 6 at the Roosters.

Look at the wider picture thanks. We win. Silence. We lose against Penrith. The coach is no good. The riff have played 4 GFs in a row and won the last 3. There’s a feeling of super confidence, an arrogance within their club. Their system has worked with an 85% winning rate since 2020 giving players confidence that they can just slot into the machine. You don’t give enough weight to this mental side of the game. They also have the confidence that they won’t be penalised or 6 agained no matter how much they push the ref in being off side. It’s easier for Brad Schneider to fit into this confident, arrogant, accustomed to winning machine than it was for him to slot into the raiders inconsistent afraid of losing team. I’m not going over the same ground I covered with you last year. You didn’t care then so I suspect nothing has changed.

                              • Is there a chance once the whole front row is avaialable Whyte may be moved to an edge or bench to cover edge?
He has played on the edge before
jwh/ Collins, may and Leniu are there could see Whyte on the bench covering the back row
