Yes King Salvo the season has barely begun … but that was a proper embarrassment the other night which suggests not much has changed in Bondi

If we can’t beat the Panthers at home without Cleary… on top of their other losses in personnel … then I have doubts we ever will as things stand

      This team is poorly coached

Our season is over in round 4 after losing by a try to last year's premiers (with 1 try wrongly disallowed)

Without all this western propaganda, what's the REAL story about global politics

      ---

WTF's with all the weak-gutted, emotional headlines on here? Grow a set of cojones and stop being a bunch of tinhats I say!!!

For mine Robbo’s test will be how we fare against the teams we should beat as over the last four seasons we have dropped far too many games we should have won easily.
How often do you see Panthers or the Storm lose these games.

            But what does it matter?

We are so loaded we will naturally beat the riffraff most weekends …. but then rarely do anything against the better teams … you cannot win a premiership that way

People want to know why Penrith are so good? they are superbly coached … always play smart and at 100% no matter who is in their lineup … much like Melbourne

We on the other hand have a soft boiled egg as a coach … all the stars (and we always have plenty of those) have to align for us to do anything of note

I will give Robbo some credit … he is a superb recruiter … but it’s all a ruse … as a football coach he is barely above average on a good day

You didn’t think we were poorly coached after Rounds 1 and 3.

                Let’s see …

Round 1 was a very good performance … with extenuating circumstances

Since then … according to our coach … society found its turning point

Round 2 … ****ing dreadful … Manly just got rolled by an absolute rabble

Round 3 … we flogged our rivals … who are also a rabble at present … no complaints

Round 4 … we get manhandled at home by a team of mostly reserve graders

Considering we have the best lineup in league … yeah I’m absolutely loving this coach and our start to the season

Manly played their grand final against us already.

Fancy getting done by a team that has conceded equal second worst points. God we should have easily accounted for these pretenders frustrating

Round 24, 31st August 2019 at the SCG was the last time Easts beat Penrith. Score was 22-6.

Officially 9 games in a row now. Easy enough to look up.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

Ivan Cleary has his finger on the games pulse for now. Things will change and he'll have to scrap for premierships just like Bennett, Bellamy and Robbo.

It also helps to have 12000 plus juniors in your catchment area. It's one thing to recruit players like Sam Walker when he was 18 and another to have Nathan Cleary et al come through from the age of 12.

Parramatta beat Penrith both times in 2023 - 17-16 and 32-18 - Parramatta didn't make the finals.

Only time the Roosters have played Penrith in a finals game during this run of theirs's was in 2020 - a close 29-28 loss.

Salvo the Parra Penrith anomaly is a territorial thing … it goes deep
