Its the same Sookpen members who make the most noise about sacking Robbo......yes the same Sookpen members who wanted him gone for supporting Manlys inclusion jersey a couple of seasons ago.....the same Sookpen members who wanted Robbo booted when he said we shouldnt boo Latrell. Probably just a co-incidence so i wont mention any names!

Complacency has been our achilles' heel for years. I think it’s the coaches job to sort this out. We have seen that any team can beat any team in this competition if you don’t show up with the right attitude. Manly are a good example this weekend.

No.
I'm not talking about the biff or suspensions.
I'm talking about mentally tough players that play for the whole game and are happy to do the dirty work. Players that turn up every week and play for the team.
Leinu and Collins are those type of players.
Also players like Jerome Hughes, Welch, Carrigan, Su'a', Leo Thompson, Frizell, Capewell, etc
Anyway based on the form guide this year WLWL we will beat the dogs Friday.

We played terrible in the first half and still the deciding factor between the teams was a joke decision from the bunker which not only robbed us of the 4 points potentially 6 to tie the game in the end but it robbed us of the momentum as the try was scored at a crucial time and never mind that they received an identical that we were denied which is another point swing against us. There's a lot of handling and discipline the team needs to get right but I am not as down about the game as the year Penrith beat us by 40 both times I give us a chance next time we play as long as we are full strength or at least not missing crucial players like Lindsay CollinsLast edited by SamKerrSimp; 04-01-2024, 10:48 PM.

- IMO it's easy to downplay the fact we were without Collins and Leniu (and yet still finished stronger than Penrith!!!) Re-watch the last few Origins as a NSW fan if you think Collins' inclusion makes a minimal impact. If he was available against the Riff and played like he does for QLD then we wouldn't have just had him tearing up... JWH and May woulda had less of a load to shoulder. Collins is a beast!!!!
- No mongrel? Rads, Collins, May, Cheese, Leniu and Whyte have got a whole heap of mongrel and we've got a formidable forward pack. Just the other week, Brisbane accused us of bullying when they didn't get the result they were expecting. With more DISCIPLINE (as the season goes on), we'll only get better.
- The gap was narrow and included a wrongly denied Joey Manu try. Not saying we won the battle but IMO these are the best signs we've seen for some time.
