  • Maloney & Pearce

After watching the last 2 Warriors games I am very happy that Maloney will be a Chook in 2013.

Maloney is a real competitor with a high involvement (unlike you know who).

However, has me thinking that his style of play is exactly the same as Pearce's.

How do you see it will work between the two in 2013?

He'll do great just what we need a solid half. Someone to guide and help develop our juniors Anasta creates no try assists no decent kicking game and no decent passes which is slowing our attack god knows what we would be without Pearce!
Next year were a top 4 chance I cant stand the Tigers it frustrates me they'll make the 8 again and Rothfield will be talking up the overated Tigers again if the Bulldogs, Tigers or Dragons win i will jump off a cliff I hate the Tigers they get so lucky they get to verse the 3 bottom teams in a row and get away JUST by a few points its so unfair how unlucky we are and how lucky they are out of all the teams luck goes to the Tigers they missed out on finals 3 years straight and are suddenly good again. Their team will be more arrogant next year when Anasta arrives their at least he'll stuff up their team. I hate the Tigers

One of the great features of Maloney that Pearce lacks is probably a good regular cut-out ball as well as a good open-field player

the only issue is probably that they both like to play on the right imo, all though it looks like Pearce is getting involved with both sides now

Chook Norris is right about the cut out.

But I still think Maloney's game needs a bit of work.

          Something's missing from his game.

I think maybe he's had it too good behind those forwards.

          He seems unbruised or something.

          Dunno.

he needs to work on his kicking from the side line. do we have a spare goal kicker if he gets injured in 2013

He will miss a lot more tackles than Anasta, particularly close to the goal line. There will be more tries scored against us from them. The grass is greener on the other side of the Tasman.

Just like our last 5/8, he was a speed hump in defence. Still is at his new club. Souffs ran riot over him a couple of weeks ago.

                The FlogPen .

                You know it makes sense.

To be honest how many 5/8's could you say don't have defensive deficiencies

I love Maloney and last night he showed what he will bring to our team. He is a footballer and a competitor to the bone. I love where the club is headed at the moment, it's good to see us involved in positive headlines, playing some good football and having 'Roosters' players to cheer and follow, meaning all these young fellas that have been in the system for handful of years now and coming through making their debuts. Rather than supporting ego's on huge pay packets who act like w*nkers.

                        Darren Lockyer springs to mind.

I think Maloney's defense will be fine. Carney is better defensively than he gets credit for. Christ if only TC was still with us. Sigh.

                            Darren Lockyer's defense was atrocious.
