    ROOSTERS SQUAD v BULLDOGS

    Rnd 5 - Friday 5 April, 6:00pm
    Accor Stadium, Sydney

Gutted with last weeks gmae. We simply didn't compete when it counted. Missing Lindsay & Leniu was always going to make it difficult, but I expected us to be far more competitive than we were. Moving on ...

This week the Bulldogs. They are rubbish. If we don't beat this mob by 30+ I'll be pissed off.

We have a couple of changes, with Collins back and Gus starting ... we should be way too strong with our pack at close to full strength.
Our backs should run riot with early ball and some room to move.

BUT !! I hate the 6:00 Friday game. It's a vacuous, souless, nothing timeslot.

It's our turn to win this week, so win we will. Chooks by 32.

    GO EASTS !!

Not Penrith again! May as well call them Penrith with all the x-Panthers now playing for the “family club”.

Angus in as expected. Was great last week.

Hahaha. My bad, forgot to edit the title.

Mods - can you edit the title to read Bulldogs please?

I'm surprised to see Siua Wong out in the wilderness given he was given the starting role for Rd1 and now all of a sudden can't even make the 17. I'm glad Sitili is getting benched though. A defensive liability as always.

Yet another great side 'on paper', but can they perform on the field against an improving opposition?

This is a line up that should demolish the Scum.

Do we know who the referee is?
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Very formidable looking squad... once they click & are all fully fit & firing, 2024 glory will be waiting!

                      Likewise.
I find it hard to imagine Wong has been dropped for performance reasons given there's some other bludgers who should be joining him. I'm guessing off field indiscretions as punishment. How else is he supposed to improve?

He's big, he's bad and he's sooo back....he's Lindsay Collins! Plus Gus looks to be rewarded for some strong line running in his stint last week.

On paper it looks a ripper of a squad, but I'm reliably informed its about 10th best in this competition.

Some idiot who knows nothing about the game.

Wong made 18 runs for 177m and 43 tackles last week in Reggies, in a beaten side (Penrith won 30-14). I don't think it will be long until he's back in firsts. One injury or poor game by Sitili, Gus or Nat & he'll be back.
