Swap Lomax for Smith

Dragons have announced Lomax is free to leave & don't want him for 25 & 26.

They will even do a deal for this year if they get the right player swap.

Make it happen Robbo or Uncle Nick.

We are getting nothing much out of Billy & Lomax is a step up who isn't injury prone.

Think a change of clubs would benefit everyone.

Lomax is not a step up on Smith. I know Billy has trouble staying on the park, but he showed last year when he can string a bunch of games together he is a better footballer than most on here give him credit for. Lomax just doesn't inspire me.

I think given Lomax is on a reported 700-800k and has thrown the toys out of the cot due to a relatively minor positional change and seems to have issues with consistency and motivation, we should be avoiding him.

On paper it looks attractive because he's a good player on his day, but I think it'd end up being more trouble than its worth.

I highly doubt the Dragons would take Billy Smith as a replacement for this year given he is out injured for 2 months currently and has a horrific injury record that shows he cannot be relied on.

Supposedly players come to the Roosters on unders to be coached by Robbo, if Lomax comes a bit cheaper it's a win.

Lomax would be an asset while Billy just spends all his time in rehab.

i'm sick of reading about Smiths injuries.
Him & the club need to part ways for both benefits.

If we are losing Manu & Suaalii then we need to plan & strengthen the back line quickly.

Not sure for some of the hate for Lomax. On his day hes a damaging player who can also kick goals.

Don't hate Billy at all but he' just cant stay on the field for long.

Probably cant happen for this year but a swap between the 2 doesn't seem like the worst thing & Flanagan would probably be someone we could fleece with that deal.

Why would Saints swap Lomax for an injury prone Smith?
There is no need to swap anyone from the Chooks with Lomax if we are losing Manu & Suaalii.
