Interesting article !
Similar note, I found it funny that people and journos were praising Penrith beating us last week saying we were at full strength when obviously we were missing: Lindsay Collins, Spencer, Sandon (our preferred utility) and played them after a short turnaround with Keary coming off a head knock. Add to that when the full time whistle was blown, Penrith had a dodgy try awarded which was a mistake, we had a try disallowed which was also a mistake and the final score (irrespective of who the better team was on the night) was only a converted try in difference !
Yes, Penrith were missing key players as well but so were we and the point is we were no where near full strength ! They are still the team to beat again this season ... but the Roosters starting slow, clunky and still trying to find a playing style is unfortunately still an issue ... give us a few more rounds + Spencer back and I'm sure we'll be more of a threat in the comp.
