The main thing with Robbo is his failure to develop a direct playing scheming game winning half.

The Keary Walker combo just isn't a winner. You know it in your bones they're incompatible on some kind of cellular level.

Considered by the players, fans and media. At the end of the day, an organic food truck at training, the best physio, stadium, countless specialist trainers doesn't win you premierships. Every club has the same amount to spend on their 30 man squad. The players, their ability and some luck wins you comps.

Cronk has proved to be irreplaceable.

Without that kind of cool headed winner steering the side around we're been kind of ticker-less for years.

Unfortunately for Robbo, he can't turn the players we currently have into an Aubbo, Cords or Friend etc... and neither could Bellamy. Blaming the coach or changing him isn't going to change much IMO No club has a divine right to success every year. It's cyclical and we will have to wait our turn again.

If we had a crystal ball, we might not have signed the Cheese and maybe not even young Joseph if we knew he was going to leave us after a few seasons You can't get it right all the time like in '13 with SBW, Maloney and Jennings.

As a financial powerhouse, we might not have to wait as long as some of the others and so we need to chill and support our club through thick and thin. We will still all be Roosters after the likes of Robbo are a footnote in our history

I wouldn’t have sitili near firsts. People on here were bagging Nat butcher last week but give me him over sitili any day. Sitili had 4 runs for 17 metres, 2 errors, 23 tackles with 3 misses. His efforts at marker were a disgrace.

Sometimes as a coach no matter what, a side will lose the plot and not show up. Keary said as much in the presser.

Yes, this is the correct answer among the moaning about Robbo.

Cronk was a once in a generation halfback. Despite what people may say, he was as important as Cameron Smith was at the Storm.

A lot of smarts between the ears. One whole hell of a lot. But also not afraid to bark orders and really run the show.

Walker is not there yet, but i he will be eventually. Needs time. Sandon Smith, I reckon he is born with it..we need to keep him.

Keary is among the best halves of the past decade. But we all know his best is past. Robbo knows that too. Keary knows that. But Robbo does not kneejerk like the Chook Pen...he plays the long game. He knows Keary needs to stay for now, to ensure Walker/Smith will be a success long term.

Uncle Nick knows that too. Which is why Robbo isn't going anywhere. And thank god for that. Bellamy or Skeletor won't come, and there is no one else as good as Robbo at coaching an NRL team.

We have seen this same rubbish for a long time now.
Many say we have the best team on paper.
Maybe we had the best coach 5-6 years ago, but we don't have him now.
Banging the glass like it's an under 8 Grand Final, this guy is under a lot of pressure.
                    The Roosters way ain't working.

I'll never bag someone who makes an honest effort. Shit happens... every day, week, month, year! R5 of a long season. If you lose hope now, why bother turning up? The big positive... it was a terrible 1st half followed by what was expected in the 2nd & thankfully not the other way round.

We scream for a new coach every time a player misses a tackle, throws a bad pass, drops the ball or gives away a penalty or gets binned or sent off... what makes you think the Coach doesn't own his part in a below par performance? &, like the players, will strive to be better next week...

We have a terrific roster. One that should be challenging for a comp, yet here we are being an embarrassed by a bottom four team with some of their guns out.

I've lost faith in Robbo to produce consistent enough performances that are required to deliver a premiership.

It's a joke and I'm actually really embarrassed. We should've pumped that team last night.

Couldn’t agree more…We have been rudderless since he retired. In the past especially during our successful years we have always had great halves whether it be Hastings, Lam, Wing, Fittler and yes even Pearce I rate much higher than what we have at present even Anasta would rip the team a new one trying to lay down the law.

Problem is that the first half wasn’t an honest effort from a few of them. Why did it take till the break to improve?
