Focus should be on starting the game with more intensity. There's definitely an element of cat and mouse in the way we've played over the past 3 season.

Don’t think it’s an easy fix. Chicka is right. It’s all mindset and attitude. We just don’t seem willing to put the hard yards in man on man week in week out. They play in moments rather than set up the win over 80 mins.

Dare I say it only a knee jerk fix will solve it by sacking Robbo and putting someone else in with new ideas. This has the potential to backfire because 1) there are no standout coaches in the queue and b) we are back in the same position after the inevitable coaching honeymoon period is over.

Instead there were frantic pushed passes and turnovers and we were back under the pump.
Right on the money with that Burgundy mun. I mentioned a similar thing last night about cronk.

The moment Politis gave Robinson a job for life our team has been poorer for it ..

Like Israel, Robinson has no accountability nor fear of it ..

The rain always shows the leaks in a football team, and last night we looked unprepared and fragile to pressure.

Walker played 18 minutes yesterday and was one of, it not our best against Brisbane and Souths. Keary has only played well when the game was lost and there was no pressure on him - against both Penrith and Dogs.
I'm more with Ism22 on this one. You didn't mention Kez schooled Mam and Reynolds in Round 1, was easily the best half on the paddock. As for the close losses to Manly and Penrith, our whole team was off the pace...you couldn't find young Sam with a searchlight.

Sam Walker is a confidence player; when the team is going well, he's heavily involved, which is opposite to when they are not going well in a match. - Not the only player one has to say that is like this.

2026 is a bit away, but if they retain both Sam Walker and Sandon Smith, both signed until 2025, then I would play Sandon at 7 and Sam at 6.

Sandon is a genuine organising half, and this would free up Sam to play as a running 5/8 without the game management burdon, which, like Keary, isn't his go-to as a player.

Sandon's stats in the NSW Cup in 2022 were impressive in the key KPI areas for a game manager and organising half, especially for a player who was playing SG Ball in 2021. - Not afraid to take the line on, as you are a target for the D of other sides in this type of halfback role.

              Line Engaged - 1st
              Line Break Assists - 1st
              Try Assists - 2nd
              Kicking Metres - 3rd

It would be a travesty if we don’t retain him.
