Has been very pedestrian at times. The second half is what he needs to produce more often.

at least he was honest in the presser to say the attitude was bad and embarrassing.

sometimes I reckon he is our only attacking threat.

Gee he looked pissed in the presser, mentioning the whole team need to sit down and take a long hard look at themselves..

Good to see a player wear is heart on his sleeve and not laugh after a shit performance..

Will be interesting to see how he comes out next week!

He only seems to play like that when we are behind though. As if he needs to get angry or motivated.

You see glimpses of it every now and then, that second half he was tremendous. He’s clearly still got the skill we just don’t see enough of it.

Yep more of that... less kicking the ball into touch on the full as a last tackle 'option'.

Yeah. he is a funny cat.

I really like the bloke, really do.

But it seems like he is only performing as the Keary we all know and love is when he gets really fired up and sees a bit of red mist.

80%+ of the time these days he looks like he is holding back, fearful of injury or head knocks perhaps?

That’s one half in five games thus far this season..Pity he’s paid to play with that sort of effort all season long.
It won’t last long though he will take it to the line get hit then he will go back into his shell for the next 8 or so games.

I'm guessing it's about self preservation. Keary realises he's no longer a spring chicken, and either one of injury or head knocks will have him exit quicker than the contract expiry. His frustration is with the others not picking up the slack imo.

Interestingly, if you look at the stats from the NRL, Keary is 6th for line engagement (35). Both Rads (13) & Teddy (12) rank ahead of Walker (11) at 47th. But it’s Keary that people complain about not taking it to the line.

Its few and far between for my liking

You have Keary on one side running to the sideline
Teddy on the other running the same sideways shape

It'll never work without a half (or Rads) with brains to straighten the attack

Keary should retire. He is no longer the player he was.

Some chookpeners wouldn’t swap him for any other 5/8th though.
