1) A knee to the back of the head that sees our playmaker removed from the match and likely to miss a week and the opposition ballrunner not receiving any form of penalty?
OR
2) A towering winger flying in to make a tackle on a much shorter guy and getting sent off for above-the-shoulder contact thus leaving his team short a man for about 55 minutes?
In scenario 1 it is arguable that the ballrunner could easily have adjusted his direction, or step, and completely avoided a collision to the back of the head. It is equally arguable that in scenario 2, the tackler had less time to react and make any adjustments to avoid head contact.
Sadly for us, both scenarios resulted in the absolute worst possible outcome for Easts.
It also highlights an agenda of persecution that the NRL and the referees have against our team.
