The window has definitely closed. We are planning on a back 5 next season of Teddy, Toups, Young, Smith, Murphy. We rejected Taylan May who wanted to join. It’s an absolute shambles.

What is your evidence for this? How do you know he wanted to join us?

I heard that they chatted with him but he decided to stay loyal and re-signed with the Panthers for two more years

He publicly said if he would leave Penrith it would be for us but it sounds like there was no offer from our club as it was clear he was wanted by Penrith which was his preference. Here's an article with quotes from Taylan May and Trent Robinson https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl...525eb15b55ff39

South's have imploded with nowhere to go and so it kind of makes it easier for them to pull the trigger and do what needs doing. The danger for us is that we never get that bad but we aren't really competitive either (where it matters) I don"t want another 5 years of what we are now and so I really hope Uncle Nick hasn't gone soft and has a word with all concerned to pull their finger out

Les and Crew won't be happy as he likes Coach Robinson

“The only other club I wanted to go to was the Roosters, but it didn’t happen and that’s all right. There were talks, but there was nothing on the table.

“I like Trent Robinson and I met him a few times, but it’s all cool. There are no hard feelings.”

Robinson confirmed on Wednesday that the Roosters had spoken with May about a possible move to the east.

After this year there's no - JWH, confirmed
                Suaalii- still going isn't he?
Manu- likely chasing big rugby $,
                Angus?- Who knows.
                Toops?- Probably stay another year.

We aren't rebuilding as some reckon.
We aren't overrated as some reckon
Most of our players would walk into most teams.

We still have current & former Origin & international test players.

This appears to be our last chance to have a decent crack at the title for a while.

Robbo needs to find a way to turn us into a legit title contender. Time to wake the sleeping giant.

Otherwise Robbo can join the departure list & we go with a complete rebuild instead of the same old same old that's being dished up.

I like the way you think. Spot on. Robbo bashing windows after 26 down tells me a lot
                barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!
