  • Andrew Webster Homesick

Surely Andrew Webster is homesick by now and wants to come back to Sydney for family reasons.

To make this Roosters related, have a look at the ‘football’ his side (Warriors) play, the enjoyment they play with and the holistic disciplined approach they have in all facets. Then compare it to Robinson ball, or as he pedals it, Roosters style/way.

Then if you aren’t sold we are on the wrong horse, compare the rosters and see who’s getting more out of their squad.

Warriors have a very good roster, I have them down as potential contenders this year. They also have a very stacked NSW Cup side. Do not underestimate the quality of player at that club and the balance they have across all positions.

Webster has done a really good job and looks like last year isn’t just going to be another Warriors flash in the pan.

Still sucks to see RTS running around in anything other than a Roosters jersey.

Seriously. It's not a video game. You're a clueless embarrassment.

I for one have the utmost respect for Andrew Webster. Is very down to earth, loyal and no 'carry on' whether his team loses or wins. He's not homesick at all, New Zealand is where his and family's heart is.

If Robbo eventually goes, I would take Webster in a heartbeat. Yes, over Bellamy, the skeleton and Cleary.

If the Roosters don't win the premiership this year, I hope it's the Warriors and I can't think of any other coach I would be happy to see lift the 'Provan-Summons Trophy.

He's basically replicated the Penrith model. Strong fundamentals, no nonsense. They charge it up and kick really well. Rinse and repeat.

They also have great ball players in the red zone, not just boring block and sweep plays.

I really think they can win it this year.

Webster is hungry for success and is doing his best.

Robbo has achieved it! He makes scary amounts of money regardless if we win lose or draw and has become complacent.

Time to put Robbo on match payments.

Maybe a hit to his wallet will wake him up.

He's become too comfy & complacent.

Got a sneaky feeling for the Warriors myself this season.Regardless how good Penrith are, it's not going to be a walk in the park jagging 4 in a row.

If it's not us (which would be a bloody miracle) then I wouldn't begrudge the Kiwis it

Coach Robinson and staff will get the squad back on track just wait and see.

I think they might regret not putting RTS at fullback because like you I think they’ve got a great team this year.

This is great chat. What’s your actual thoughts on the quality of football between the 2 sides mentioned? Or if you prefer, give us another referee bias against roosters post. They’re always fun kid.
