Because he coached the Rabbits? is Wing a cretin for going there? is Crichton a cretin for coming from there?
The Don is the don … you would love him if he talked smack for the Roosters and won us a title

Talk about making a clown of yourself … a proper Robbosexual no doubt

Where did we finish? 7th mate … 6 places worse than predicted
One coach overachieved … the other underachieved
Send Robbo to the Dolphins mate … he would struggle to win a football game

Bennet has been coaching in the NRL for 35 fkn years for crying out loud.
Including 15 odd years at the Broncos, where had more or less had the pick of the talent from basically all of QLD.
Side by side
Bennett:
Years coaching in the NRL: 35
Premierships: 7
Grand final appearances: 10
Robbo:
Years coaching in the NRL: 11
Premierships: 3
Grand final appearances: 3
More than acceptable record against Skelator.
Bennett is a great coach, one of the all time greats. Can't take that away.
But anyone who thinks Bennett is that much better is simply wrong.

I dislike Cleary but would welcome him with open arms given he is a top coach, id put bias aside if it meant the Roosters getting success. I don't think Bennett guarantees any more success than Robbo does in this point of their careers.

The fixation with Coach Robinson is an unhealthy one1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

2020 Origin miracle aside … and that was the most astounding display of coaching you will see
3 seasons with the Rabbits … 3 prelims … a narrow loss to Penrith in the GF
4 seasons with the Broncs … 2 prelims … a narrow loss in the GF
3 seasons with the Knights … his one blemish … still 1 prelim
2 seasons with the Dragons … 2 minors … 1 prelim … a win in the GF
So prior to starting up the Dolphins … 12 seasons … 2 minors … 7 prelims … 3 GF appearances… 1 title
At 4 different clubs!
That’s bloody impressive … and well beyond any other current coach’s capability
