The lack of a consistent left edge is one of our bigger problems. Since Latrell and Cordner left/retired I don’t think we’ve had any consistency in our left edge back rower and left edge centre.

I don’t think looking at players who are off contract for 2026 fixes that problem though. Either back some youth or go out and buy someone for 2025.

Id say our left edge defence is diabolical. Is it our biggest problem? Not sure about that but it’s up there with our attitude, willingness to play direct, line speed, ability to generally win the ruck

I do.
We let in 3 tries down our left side and lost to Panthers.

Dogs ran straight thru our left centre side.

There are a few issues…
- Smsll halves
- poor long kicking game
- Left center consistency (A fit Billy it’s the answer but not a really)
I never thought our edge back rowers were the problem but are worth watching closely. I think in defense they are exposed due to the small halves.

And our tactics need revising… Dom Young is not a back field second carry yet. We get picked off easily sometimes when running one out from our own.
