Last year he played Suaalii at centre, did not work moved him to the wing, crushed it.

This year selections in the backline where tough before Rd 1, we had injuries but instead of picking Pauga or Jennings at centre he went with the “easier” option of Suaalii at centre. Unless he brained it during the summer why did Robbo go back to something that failed last season.

Surprise surprise Suaalii has been terrible this season at center.
Pauga in the centres? A rising 36 year old who hasn't played a game since 2020 straight into the centres Rd1? Suaalii terrible in the centres this year?

    WTF?

Yes the kid is very limited in his game
again like last year offers nothing in attack, can’t pass, no fend or step
have you seen him break a tackle, score a try or pass to lay on a try?
his defence is atrocious again either rushes up or gets caught flat footed and gets burnt on the outside
very overated let’s hope rugby take him early
it’s insane $750k is way to high to pay him and what he is going to rugby for

There are no must win games for Robbo, because he has the job as long as he wants it. There in lies the problem.

Seems quite remarkable after only 5 rds & they only sit one less win than us but unlike us they dont except mediocre rubbish & are prepared to make hard tough calls.

So the question is...when does Robbo get given his ultimatum to lift our standards & turn us into a serious team again?

That 1st half v the Dogs was deplorable & the previous week v Panthers piss poor also. This team is badly underachieving & I'm sick of watching this hot/cold crap from a roster like ours.

I'm sick of this warm fuzzy yesterday's hero crap with Robbo from some people. This is now & its looking like a carbon copy of the last 3-4yrs.

He doesn't donate his time to coaching this proud club....he gets paid a huge amount of money for us to dish out mediocre rubbish & his only response in recent time was to drop Sammy Walker.

The haters of this thread can get stuffed along with Robbo if he can't turn us into the club we deserve to be....

My first ever big rant...come at me mediocre underperforming Robbo fan boys.
Our must win game is v Knights this week, (then v Dragons on Anzac Day).
Our team is getting better, but it's a long way from where it needs to be for top 4 success.

            Getting better??

In what departments were we getting better against Panthers & Dogs.

All I've seen are slow uninspiring uninterested starts with some late 2nd half tries to make the scoreboard look closer than it is.

I have no confidence in beating a decent Knights team away with the way we are playing & also now minus Teddy & Walker.

              Getting better than last season.
Well, the games in Vegas and against Souths were.

He is going to rugby union for a 5 million 3 year contract.

Su is 20 years old and has played 50 games for 24 tries. Compare him to Manu.......When Manu was 20 he had played only 3 NRL games in total- by the time he was 21 he played 17 games. It took him 8 first grade games to score his first try! I just don't get your hate on a young player with unlimited potential. To suggest that Pauga or Jennings should have been picked in the centres for Rd 1 instead of Su is just wrong.

Yes the rugby contract is what is insane
he can’t even live up to a $750k contract and if the backline was all there he would be an expensive nsw cup player
Manu wasn’t on that money at 20 so we are really just burning our money on a prodigy who may or may not be good who is leaving anyway
how many tries has he scored at centre compared to wing?
At centre how many tries has he let in? It probably would be double that
and you could count tackle busts on one hand
tbh a back rower would do a better job out there
I agree it’s not his fault robbo keeps picking him there but when your on that money you are expected at min to do a job

We'll see how he goes against the Knights.
                    If he fails,
                    to reserves he must go.

But you can't do the job, if to do the job is beyond your capability.

We don’t need Ivan. It’s Nathan and the massive amount of juniors that make him look good. Did you rate him when he was at Tigers?
