  • Would you be happy if Cheese takes up his option for next year

Want to hear your thoughts , it’s not really in the clubs control but would you rather he stays or goes.

If he goes do we promote from Reserve grade or go to market ?

Most likely next year we will be without JWH,Suualii,Angus and Joey...I'm hoping he stays

It would be nice to see Moriarty in firsts to get a more accurate guide of where we sit in that position but he has suffered a setback.

Who is the 9 that came on in the trials and apparently has been going well this season ? His name escapes me but they flew his parents out for the trial against Souths ( I'm aware it was reserve grade standard)

Benaiah Ioelu... turned 21 that weekend of the Bunnies trial... he & Tyler have been solid performers in lower grades over the last few years...

Of course he takes the option, his market value would have plummeted since he signed for us.

Not fussed at all either way..

He has been a let down signing if I’m being honest!

Just goes to show,if they’re playing well under Craig Bellamy doesn’t mean he will play as good at another Club!

The Cheese is quality … you might want to ask the coach why he hasn’t been able to consistently reach his previous level with us

That said … the cheeky little bugger cannot be absolved of all responsibility … I do wonder sometimes whether his full throttle playing style has taken something of a toll on him … he’ll be 28 soon

Smith is a funny one. He hasn't been nearly as bad as some people have claimed, and I don't ever feel like his effort can be questioned. Injuries hurt him last year, and it's difficult for any player to look great in a team as dysfunctional as we were last year.

I'm sure he will stay, but as to my personal feelings, I wouldn't really be that bothered either way. I think I'd prefer he stay just because I'd really enjoy seeing him achieve something with us.

I really do wonder how much of an upgrade it would be to have him just play in the back-row long term though.

I think there's so much we haven't yet seen. As eluded to above, perhaps the coach could get this oiut of him.

I'm still fuming about his forward pass from dummy half last week. We had clawed back to 26-20 and he throws a forward pass. The Dogs score 2 tackles later.

The Cheese would benefit significantly with Sandon Smith playing at five eighth or if Keary runs to the line more. When Keary plays sideways it compremisers everything including The Cheeses impact.

                      Yes from me.

Don't think we can afford to lose another experienced player next season. Is it just in his favour or do we have an option as well?

Is it just me or does Smith always look absolutely gassed even after ten minutes? Not saying he physically is but damn boy the look on your face..its like you've run the Boston Marathon.

Not worried either way. We probably paid a little too much for him and I think our expectations of him were unrealistic to begin with ,so with him being anything less than outstanding a lot of us fans were going to be disappointed.

I hope he does, there's a dangerous player in there if he can get in the zone and stay there. Id love to see him want to become the best 9 in the game, and make it his goal.

After next year the decision is ours whether we offer another contract. That will be an interesting move.
