  • Brandon Smith deserves an enourmous rap. I felt like he basically kept us in a lot of that first half.
Aside from him, Manu, Tupou, Suaalii, May, Crichton, Radley were all outstanding, and I thought Watson and Keary were quietly strong as well.

Did tip the Roosters to win this one, but with 10-minutes to go and ahead by 8, I said to myself "It would be such Roosters fashion to concede a try and then defend our goal line at the death"... Lo and behold.

Haven't read the other comments in the thread yet, but I had huge question marks over a few calls, as usual. Surely, the non-penalty on the high contact from Collins cannot be correct? If I drop the ball and then someone preceeds to shoulder me in the head, am I not right in assuming that foul play will take precedence? If not, that should be adjusted immediately.

To be fair, we got away with a few forward passes, but my goodness, it's incredible that we can win the meterage battle that hard and receive borderline 0 6-agains.

Anyway, very strong effort from the boys. I thought it was a fairly high quality game to be honest, and the better side won. Hard to beat the Knights with their fans going off like that. Very important win from us, although I would say it was won more so on effort than good football.

Yes, but we are a rabble at the moment so a 2pt win away from home with a 2/10 defensive effort means it's upwards from here, hopefully.

Well said. Smith was excellent and that first try was all him starting that move with the quick sharp and direct run from dummy half straight at Ponga.

Yeah not many teams can dominant the middle like we did yet still look so poor in patches. I think it was our defence that let us down with fundamental misreads and poor first contact.

The Collins call was an absolute joke. Any other side get a penalty.

        • Pathetic effort from O'Brien in the presser - the refereeing of the ruck cost them the game, such was the cheating by the ref to help us, LOL. Also they deserved a penalty goal to win the game at the end.

"I'm not making excuses. But I am making excuses. And we're really tired".

Honestly, the hatred, sour grapes and jealousy of our club still surprises me.

          • Overall the better side won and in the end that's the objective.

That was the most miserable presser I think I’ve ever seen.
