Just demonstrating why we should be buying Stefano.

Daniel Saifiti is 195cm and 121kg.
It's not much good sending Egan Butcher-ilk out as props to defend against him at the start of a game.

Yes but they never have to do much tackling in games, penalties and 6As see to it.
Look at them v us recently.
They had muscular second rowers last year.

The Souths fullback. Can’t handle the pace of the game. One of the reasons he misses so many games every year compared to when there was no Six Again rule.

Most big men struggle with the pace of the game. If they didn’t then they’d be playing 80 minutes.

Example of a big guy who can play 80 minutes and does so regularly?

When the Six Again rule came in, JWH dropped his playing weight by 6kg.

I rate him but I think we've got Xavier Va'a coming through our ranks at the moment (as mentioned by Arties Pie as well), so not sure if the club would go to the market for a forward.

At a fraction of the price and don't laugh me out of the joint I like Griffin Neame !!! Not sure of his contract status

I do liKe Stefano also though.

Hopefully at some stage we get a glimpse of X Va'a though, that appears to be where the club has pinned its hopes

We need to win games 'now' (2025, players signed by end Nov 2024)...can't wait until kids in the lower grades mature.
Looks like Meninga might be going to coach Souths, bet he'll grab Stefano.

                      We're going on a $3m spending spree?
Hope there's some good ones left to buy on 1st Nov.

                        Why wouldn't you buy him?
Well you wouldn't unless you wanted the tape measure back.

Neame re-signed with the Cows for another couple of years, fairly recently.

I like Stefano and think he would go great in our system.

Mitchell??? You were talking forwards as per your reply to Bondi Boy.

Anyway....Comparing Mitchell's current form with his pre Six Again rule form is irrelevant as he never played fullback full-time before the Six Again rule. Mitchell is too heavy to be playing fullback because he's unprofessional and has very little respect for his club and the NRL.

We interchanged and rotated our forwards before the Six Again rule so that's another mute point.

How big are you talking when referring to big guys playing 80 minutes?

Why would JWH drop 6 kg? Size counts when you're a Prop Forward.

Currently outside backs are working harder than ever in D as teams are opting to shift early and more often. This has reduced the middle third's work load contrary to popular belief.
