  • Robbo seemed pissed off in the press conference

Seemed very short with his replies and like he did not want to be there .

Not sure what was going on, if I was to guess it would have been all the the media talk about Jenni’s 300rh that’s posed him off

    what does everyone else think

Yeh the longer that press conference went on the more noticeable it became.

Don’t think I can ever recall him cutting a press conference short.

Still had more to it that O’brien’s presser, think he needs to go for a HIA.

No doubt pissed after copping a warning from NRL about last week's comments.

nO’Brain had the audacity to question the refs. What game were you watching muppet?? One of the most one-sided refereeing performances this season against us!

Robbo should have dropped a few f bombs during the presser, would have had a chat with Abdo. So from now on, if someone drops a ball and you take his head off, no penalty?

Legimate joke of a decision. Many times we have made infringements after an previous error/penalty and they have wacked us with it. The ref's are a joke and I'm genuinely sick of it. I don't know how you could defend that decision.

Yep, ridiculous decision. Up there with the obstruction call on Victor.

That’s how Robbo should handle all pressers, answer the questions simply, don’t expand on anything, I think it was a perfect presser. He doesn’t win any fans by talking sense, and trying to educate them, so take the Bennett approach, and give em nothing.

on O’Brien, after reading the comments I expected worse, the reporters are trying to bait the coaches the whole time, I think he was honest and disappointed like all of them are after a loss.

the reporters were also trying to bait Robbo and keary with the MJ questions, they know the controversy of the 300 games and how the NRL were not going to celebrate it, yet they keep asking questions on how we were celebrating it during the week.

I disagree, I think he absolutely needed to highlight the Collins head contact. He should've questioned how seriously we are taking head injuries. That was a terrible call which should've been overturned but instead we lost our challenge. This is why players stay down and milk penalties.

I said at the time that if Rads or Jared had made that same tackle they would be in the bin.
                    Complete joke of officiating

Just watched it. Wow you’re right. Very brief from Robbo and he didn’t seem his normal self.

                        That's it for sure.

In the pre match presser he was over diplomatic about the Young send off. Who could blame him, the NRL are a joke.

How did we not get a penalty when Collins was whacked in the head and knocked on??? Sutton is so bias against us that he actually makes it obvious.

Unless and until someone in the club collates all the stats and lodges a formal complaint against the NRL and a select group of referees, this shit will continue. I'd go as far as having a private eye on the tails of criminals like Sutton and Klein.

The bias is just so 'in your face' they don't even try to hide it.

Easts have been victims of some absolutely horrendous decisions this season, and it isn't even a 3rd of the way through yet.

He was in the same mood before the game too, short sharp responses, no usual relaxed, verbose Robbo.

Think its the combo of the warning from NRL and getting bashed up for his support of Jenkos 300th. He is rightly pissed off and distrusting of how his words are being misrepresented.

He deserves credit for standing up to the PC brigade over both the Spencer and Jenko issues. Courage and common-sense. Two qualities not abundant in today's society, especially on social media.

He went off in 2022 I think with the bunker and officials completely ignoring Brown’s knee into Hutch’s back causing broken ribs and a collapsed lung and then the Latrell hit on Joey farce. Circus music and streamers. One of the best pressers he’s given. The warning letter is very cynical of the NRL gagging him when he of all the coaches has gone on and on about protecting players health. I think he should continue the short sharp press conferences in future. I like it as being open and engaging sure hasn’t got the club anywhere on these blatant biased, double standards when it comes to officiating of foul play on Roosters players as opposed to by Roosters players.
