  • Ladder

I can't see Easts climbing higher on the ladder once this round is completed. At the moment they're 8th, behind the Warriors and Raiders who are on equal points but each with a game in hand.

If the Warriors lose to Manly, they'd probably just swap places leaving Easts in the same spot.

The Raiders are unlikely to lose to the Tits by more than 10 points so we'll be stuck at the bottom of the 8 with a match coming up against the Storm. Another team we struggle to beat these days.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Well that will be less work for you to do with your fridge magnet ladder this week

        Why so nasty?

I don't keep a fridge magnet ladder and didn't even know they existed. I think the comment says more about you than me.

I will admit to having a cardboard ladder back in the early 80s. It used to get a real workout early each season, but once Easts got into their losing rhythm, I didn't have as much to do.

The Raisers are unlikely to lose to the Titans. (Fullstop.)

My bad by the title of the thread and being pretty sure you brought up the ladder very early on like round 1 or 2 I thought you must have had a fridge ladder

I have a fridge magnet ladder but Mrs Walker is always tampering with it She thinks it is funny but I think it’s really mean

You have a good memory. I did start a similarly named thread a few rounds ago. I was going to think of a new title but couldn't be arsed.

If we're in the hunt during the season, you might see several more Ladder threads - all done without the use of a fridge magnet

I won't look at the ladder until about round 18. I'll get enough updates on here

It's worth uploading the ladder and highlighting the team that's coming last with fluro yellow.

                    You mean Souffs?

Damn, I didn't even factor in a draw between Manly and the Warriors. Thanks to yet another inept display of refereeing allowing the Warriors to draw with Manly, Easts actually fall back to 9th on the ladder. If the Tigers beat the Dragons tomorrow (highly likely), we'll slip even further out of the top 8.
