  • Manu creates NRL history.

Apparently he's been accredited with running 370m last night.

This ranks him #1 all-time in the NRL.

2 former Roosters players, RTS (368m) and Justin Hodges (346m) are in the top 5, but I don't know which colours they were wearing at the time.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

    This was historic, people!

Share the love. Joey is much better looking than Reece Walsh and doesn't need to paint his nails or pluck his eye brows to prove it.

Thought it sounded pretty ridiculous. Nice effort!!! They were honest metres too as it wasn't some Harlem Globetrotters style performance. The scores were relatively low and even...

Channel Nine commentators said he ran 400 metres last time he played fullback. They must have been bullshiting.

Not sure if it was the last time but he has run just over 400 metres as a fullback only a couple of years ago against Tonga.

He has to get more involved at centre. Some games he hardly looks for the ball.
Big shoes to replace next year.
We could be in a bit of shite next year if Teddy goes down. Neither of the Joey's around.

Would that come as a shock?

He ran for nearly 400m when playing Fullback for the Kiwis in a test some years ago.

It was not an NRL game whereas 370 is apparently the record in an NRL game.....

He is just seriously impressive. Watch him play in the centres and you think ok he’s a power athlete, explosive but not gonna grind out metres

but as soon as he needs to pull on the no 1 jersey, you can pretty much bet your house he’ll churn out 300 metres
